“You still don’t understand, do you? You can’t control the Hallow. You never could.” My pulse spikes. “Enough.” I turn away before I do something I can’t take back. Her words echo in my skull, scraping at the edges of my patience. She’s hiding something. She’s protecting Drake. She’s sabotaging me. And I will find out how. I storm back into the main room, breath sharp, magic buzzing under my skin. The candles flicker violently as the Hallow stirs in the walls. hungry, impatient. A floorboard creaks behind me. I turn. A shadow steps into the candlelight. Tall. Broad‑shouldered. Eyes like mine, but colder. My breath catches.

Finally we reached his lovely house, it was a beautiful house with wooden walls and roof just like I had in my world such a wolf taste even though there was nothing extraordinary about the house and green plants in front of his house but when he opened the main door of his house a whip of scent came inside my nostrils and I inhaled a deep breath, I could sense a strong scent of werewolves, not just one werewolf but two different werewolves. Geth growled. We were all seated around a large round table in the Great Hall. A glittering chandelier hung above giving off an ambient glow. The room was lined in gilded wood and pictures of previous royalty from the seven magics hung precisely along the walls. I admired the newest. The soul of the fairy realm. Her name was Aurora. We met a couple of times. She was nice.

She just left a letter telling him not to worry, she will come back before sunset, otherwise, he will freak out. It took her a while just to get herself outside. The palace was so big that she can't even find the exit. She can't remember how many doors she has opened thinking it will lead her in the right direction. Ugh! I don't want to live in such a big place like this. Everything is just inaccessible. It was a perfect day with perfect weather. This place never fails to amaze her. It was very magical especially with those huge and small mushrooms that loom during the night. Different tube of crystals sticks everywhere and those fireflies-

Elior turned to the Hall. A deep, echoing sound, like a heartbeat, resonated from within. The torches inside flickered violently, their light barely holding against the creeping darkness. “We don’t have a choice,” Elior said, voice grim. “We have to go in.” One by one, they stepped inside. The Hall of Kings was vast, its towering stone pillars carved with the names of rulers long gone. At its center lay the great altar, a relic of the past where the first king had once stood.

My father may be dead, well that makes me the queen then doesn’t it. Declan hasn’t realised it yet. He will tonight. The Rogues know their way around now at least. The Black Hall forms the central hub. From that space there are nine legs, long narrow red-floored corridors from which endless rooms with the same red-painted metal doors show. Each door is numbered and each corridor has a distinct purpose. Corridors one to four are accommodation. Five and six are for food and drink storage, seven contain heating pumps and whatever else those filthy little bald men do to keep this place warm.

“I must be misinterpreting the symbol of the shadow. Perhaps there’s another meaning for the darkness. I’ll do some more research. I could come over to your place later tonight and we can talk about my findings.” “Or we could watch a sappy romantic movie.” Ginny giggles. “Aren’t you tired of dwelling on movie love?” “No, I’m not. Besides, it distracts me from thinking about Aiden too much.” “Okay. If that’s what you want, then we’ll do that.” We talk for a few minutes more before we hang up. The hall where the purple spears club holds their meetings is one of the oldest, most expensive halls in the entire school.

I mumbled. “This is the South Wing,” Lara said softly, voice mechanical like she’d memorized the speech. “Most of the dorms are located here. You’ll be staying in Section C, which is mostly first-years. The North Wing houses the arena, the armory, and most training grounds. The East Wing is for the scholars, and the West is restricted unless permitted.” She kept talking and I zoned out. Because what the hell was this? Some Hogwarts-Meets-Asylum hybrid with gods and monsters thrown in for fun?

"I don't get to do that much, but Jasmine doesn't mind." Renee doesn't say more about that and I really think I know why and I am just happy to know her wolf's name. She then took a deep breath and began to tell me all about it. She explained how there was a whole other world, hidden from the non-magical people, where witches and wizards lived and went to school. She told me about Hogwarts, the magical school, and how it was divided into four houses, each with its own unique traits and qualities. As she spoke, I couldn't help but be amazed by her words. It sounded like something straight out of a fantasy novel. But her excitement and conviction made me believe that it was real.

GABRIEL’S POV I stepped up to the building, my senses prickling with a strange, unsettling feeling. The air felt heavier than usual, thick with anticipation and something darker lurking just beneath the surface. The building’s exterior is a mix of ancient gothic and modern design, crafted from a dark, enchanted stone that shimmers with a hint of iridescence under moonlight. As I approached the entrance, a wide staircase, illuminated by lanterns that flicker as if alive, leads up to a grand set of double doors made of deep mahogany and reinforced with shimmering silver inlays. The doors bear the emblem of the Council. A serpent entwined with a vine, signifying unity among supernatural beings.
