More Than What Meets the Eye

More Than What Meets the Eye

Each color convey a meaning which are: Pink - Thank you! White - You're an inspiration! Red - I love you. Black - May my hatred be with you! The last one was permitted due to insistent public demand. Truth be told, it was the student government's pain in the arse. Black was an unnatural color for roses so they had to dip and dye. She thrusted it onto his palm since he stood static. "Sorry, Penny. I can’t be my usual self today." he apologized, hoarse.

Colors of Heartbreak

Colors of Heartbreak

“I’m not!” “Elle, sometimes when someone has real feelings for someone and it doesn’t work out they shut down and dive into anything new to fill up the gap from the rejection. Is that what you’re doing now? To get back at me? Or fill up your c*nt?” He stands on his feet, looking down at me. “Did he also helped you with the funeral sprays and baskets as a thank you? How about the music and media? For what? To further humiliate us?” I opened my mouth and then close it again.

If you're looking for a book you could relate to then you should read this. You'll laugh, cry, and fell in love over and over again. What I love about this book is it tackles what most of us go through and feels when someone betrays us or breaks our hearts.

Memories In The Rain

Memories In The Rain

Tyrel could not continue what he was supposed to say until Yesha continued what he was saying. "Symbolize as death? And it symbolizes as bad luck?" Tyrel nodded while Yesha took a deep breath before she explained to Tyrel why the black color is her favourite." "Doesn't mean black symbolizes bad luck and death. We will be afraid of the color black. For me, black is like me, and black is like other people who struggle with what they are going through. What black means to me is hope. Why? Because even if you are trapped in your dark experience, darkness will call to light to give you hope of being free from all your problems. Whatever you hide in the dark, it will make its way to someone to hel

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

"This one would led to the Land Palace, this one to the Sky Palace, this one to your father's palace and this one to the Twin tower. You don't need symbols. The doors are the symbols Raymond realized his incapability on this quest. To the eyes of death, every color is the same. In the face of death, joy and sadness are the same thing. In the face of death, everything is fair. But, in life where emotions are strongest, every detail of memory constitutes color. Color is the essence of life. To death, everything is just black and white, truth and justice. To life, every color has meaning. Every meaning varies. It'sno wonder why only few people lived happily. Happiness is a door mostly used the

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Red, blue, yellow, gold, green… All the colors tangled together. And then there was the silver glow indicating mental-type abilities, along with strange shades such as purple, orange-red, and even black. Nobody knew what gifts those colors stood for. For a moment, every color collided at once. Red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, violet, along with gold, white, and silver, all of them erupting in a chaotic burst. Everyone froze, stunned. Even the man in the white coat running the test was left staring. Barnaby, Garrick, and the others from Hayley's dorm just stood there, staring at the blinding display with their mouths hanging open.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

he sighs and steps back to take my hand again. I lean down and place the rose on the doorstep. “What does the black one mean?” Jax asks. “It represents power, strength and hope. It can also mean sympathy or the end of a relationship,” I explain, glad that I can share a bit of his father’s beliefs with him.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

Again. There were bright yellow shades levitating above her head, a dim of red and grey. And for some unknown reason, as crazy as that may sound, I thought I could actually…explain what the colors meant. Bright yellow for nature. Grey, dark and pigmented. Jealousy. And the red, a little touch of anger.

He was telling her, surprisingly softly and she was curious to know more. Like this he took her to each painting and made her hand feel each curve of it, telling the colors and its meaning. " What green color indicates? " She asked, not knowing how it looks. How bright the color is. " It's a fresh and natural color, which represents life. It also indicates hope for a better life. " He explained. She memorized each word he was telling her, like a death note. It was the first time when someone was telling her about colors. Eden was the only one who used to tell her how colors feel and glow.

Living With The Five Princes

Living With The Five Princes

He spoke those words emphatically and authoritatively. Moments later, my mouth fell open because of the various lights that appeared in front of us. Those lights came right from the hands we lay on. That is perhaps what King Valor once called the guardian of our powers. Amazing! They also flew in the air for a few seconds. That light is a different color that symbolizes every power that each of us possesses. They are seven colors: gold, white, brown, gray, blue, orange and violet. All of us here symbolize those colors.
