Hanzo's POV Thank God my mate came home, I spent the entire night awake watching over her finding it hard to believe she’s here. Valko has been hyper vigilant staying forward watching over her all night and day since she’s been back. “What exactly is the council?” Tori asks as she sits on the counter and watches me cook. “Our governing body, they make and enforce our laws, enforce borders, and handle conflict between humans and supernaturals,” I explain the council the best I can.

"Okay, one of them is Alpha Fenriz of Moon Mist Pack. Second is Alpha Tim from Brown Knight pack and the third is, they are not sure about the third one but there are strong debates that he is definitely involved." "And he is?" "He is one of the council members, Elder Ronan." Tbc…

Micah and Jason step forward as one, warriors through and through, hands already itching for a fight. “You don’t get to do this,” I snap, staring the council dead in the eye. “He already fucking explained why he didn’t notify the council. He didn’t have any malicious intent so this is uncalled for.” “This is council business,” Daelor replies coldly. “Stand down, little girl.” “Go fuck yourself. I don’t take orders from cowards who hide behind titles while others bleed.” A murmur ripples through the crowd. He steps forward, his aura crackling, trying to intimidate me. What he doesn’t fucking know is that I am not a normal Luna, and I can wipe the floor with his pathetic face.

Hope was looking stern for the first time and she was situated smack dab in the middle of four men. Two had a lean build while the others had this bulky frame. Without them saying a word, I could feel the atmosphere thick with power. I knew that each one of them was quite powerful in their own right. I jumped when Emma left the room, carefully banging the door closed. The man on Emma's far left spoke up first, "My name is Cade Maddox, a member of the Council." He gestured to the people around the table whose states were drilling holes into my body. "And as you can see this is the Council, the neck on which this city rests. Now, that's Oliver, McAlister, and Jackson." He pointed to each man a

"Now, with the new changes have come many new challenges as well. The first being that a witch and a werewolf started to date. That is not something that we should ever think we even have a reason to tear apart. In order to help resolve some of these future problems, I have appointed my very own Council. Would you all step forwards? Of course, the werewolves are all familiar with their current leaders that will be joining the Council, Alpha Dante, Amora, Beta Kevin and even Scarlett will all be on the Council. From the witches we have Elle, Rosa and of course myself. There is one more spot open from the witches that will be filled shortly. Until that spot is filled, we will just have to go

“Alpha Damian…they think he would retaliate but they don’t think we will.” A few of them nodded. Sighing, I rubbed my eyes and pressed my fingers into my eyes. This really had gone all to shit. As I was trying to clear my head, loud hum of conversation was silenced. Opening my eyes, I saw that Councilor Nelo, Councilor Rashida, and Councilor Daeva stepped into the arena. All heads turned to them. “Wait…who’s the little one?” “Councilor Daeva, she’s a spirit.” They all looked at me, surprised.

~Alpha Cassian Nightingis, you are hereby summoned by The Council for a hearing scheduled for Two weeks from Today. “What does it say?” he questioned and I handed him the note. “Oh gods,” he muttered. “What do you think it’s about?” he asked, as if hoping I’d say something other than what we already know. “It’s exactly what you think it is. I’m being summoned to explain how I ‘murdered’ my ex-mate.” The Council was made up of six ‘pure-wolves’, or at least that’s what they called themselves. They are said to be directed descendants of the moon goddess, assigned to oversee our affairs.

He said to his business partner. "I am good. You?" Mr Wolf stood up and shook him. "Great" he replied and looked over at Evelyn and introduced himself to her " Hello I am Aeon Horus, one of the members of the council presiding over this city. "My name is Evelyn, sir. It is a pleasure to meet you". She had heard he was the oldest, richest, and wisest council member, but she felt the oldest part was not true because he looked the same age as his son.

My dad approaches Tom and says, “Hi Tom, thank you for being here. Could you please introduce us, to the other council members, here today?” Tom shakes my dads hand, and says, “Yes, Alpha Havrith,” Tom then nods to my mother, and says, “Luna Violet, future Alpha Ashley, and both now and future Beta and Gamma, this is Hailey, Elijah and Samantha they are the council Elders. Elders, this is Alpha Havrith, his mate Luna Violet and their daughter future Alpha Ashley. Next we have the current Beta and Gamma, with their daughters who will be the future Beta and Gamma.”

I responded. "Well, allow me to introduce you to the High Council members. They are Joslyn Rivas, Adam Bleaker, Jayden Stiffer, and I, Evangeline Jones," she said as they all sat down in unison. As the High Council members took their seats, a heavy silence hung in the air, thick with tension and unease. The room seemed to hold its breath as the introductions were made, and I could feel the weight of anticipation and apprehension settle upon us all.
