A cloaked figure was sitting alone in the back of the local pub, if you could call it that. His eyes were silver, and immediate giveaway that he was a Schatten and Viktor sensed his desperation. He was ripe for the picking and he knew it wouldn't take much to take advantage of this lonely sapling wallowing in his despair. Viktor approached with two mugs of watered down beer, knowing that the alcohol wouldn't impair this Schatten but it would be a friendly jester.

She’d never seen anything this out there, and for her this was like night and day compared to what she’d grown up with she began to slowly back up and said “This is a mistake… I don’t belong here.” She would have kept going if she hadn’t backed into a brick wall or at least what felt like one. The only light in the room was a bare bulb hanging from its electric wires, and it was sent swinging, throwing dancing shadows across everything. Emily's attention snapped over to see what the commotion was, and she found two men standing the doorway, framed by the aged wood. At first, she could only make out their silhouettes in the darkness, and a hint of features as the light swung their way. Then they moved more fully into the room, and she got a clear view of them.

Gad declared. "Theodore, it's your turn" the shadow man beckoned on Theodore. Theodore stepped forward and pierced his finger on the sword as well. He put a drop of blood in the bowl. The water swirled and turned gray. They all looked at the water on shock. "What does gray mean?" Fife asked tentatively. "half human" the shadow man replied. "What! How can it be? Theodore, did you know anything about this?" Theodore shook his head.

"Shadow Wolves aren't just spirits." "Shadow Wolves come in two forms," Dagmar nodded. "Those that are from the shadow realm. They are no different from you or your mate except that they exist only in the shadows. They also can't be seen by everyone, only the supernatural can see them. They also can't be summoned and only obey their ruler. That's where the second form comes in. "Hybrids are extremely rare. I've only heard of a handful of hybrids existing but when it comes to the second type of shadow wolf, their existence is even rarer. You see, this particular shadow wolf doesn't live in the shadow realm. They are not completely a werewolf either."

The look on his face made Camila shiver and she fell to the ground as she tried to step back. “The big bad wolf! He had a pale complexion and chiseled features while the others looked like local Latinos. He stood there shirtless with his pale chest crawling with tattoos. A huge tattoo depicting three skulls across his chest was the most prominent.

As the darkness coalesced into a menacing figure, the Guardians tightened their grips on their weapons, readying themselves for the imminent confrontation. "Who are you?" Elysia demanded, her voice steady despite the tremors of fear that rattled her. The shadowy figure chuckled darkly, its form shifting and undulating like smoke. "I am the embodiment of your darkest fears," it hissed, its voice a chilling whisper that sent shivers down their spines. "I am the one you have always feared."

Today was Saturday, and we had enough time to resolve this matter. There he was, standing in the middle of the clearing in his full glory. The morning light filtered through the dense foliage, casting dappled shadows on him, making him seem ethereal. In the semi-darkness, I couldn't make out his expression, and he waved for me to come over.
