The elevator dinged, opening directly into the expansive, ultra-luxurious living room. Everything looked exactly the same as it had a few hours ago. The marble kitchen island where he had kissed me, the plush leather sofa where I had waited for him, the panoramic glass walls showing the glittering, indifferent city below. But the warmth was gone. It felt less like a home and more like a high-tech mausoleum. Marcus stepped out behind me, pulling a heavy metallic keycard from his suit pocket—a master override card I had never seen before. He walked over to the main control panel near the elevator.

Jane asked walking toward Kim in unhurried strides stopping just an inch away from her. "Ever heard of personal space?" Kim said with a raised eyebrow motioning for Jane to move back. She took immense pleasure in watching the frustrated look on Jane's face. "But of course someone like you doesn't understand that, after all you have no problem getting into other people's personal space. Perhaps you don't even mind getting a bit too personal." Kim finished flashing an annoyed looking Jane an innocent smile. "Enough with this false bravado, why did you come back? Surely it's not because you're such a filial daughter and have decided it's time to come back home to mommy and daddy."

Alpha Leo’s POV She looked at me with confusion in her eyes. She couldn't believe what I said for a moment as her mouth opened and closed on its own. “What… What was the meaning of what you just said? Games and rules? Why would an Alpha play games in his mansion? Are you going to create some gaming stations in the mansion where you and I will be playing games?” She asked, feigning ignorance, but it was clear to me that she knew that wasn't what I meant.

He swore never to play such games again. "Philp!" She yelled and reluctantly Phil stopped, just then a guard ran in. The guard carried James up. "Ahhh" he cried in Pain as he was raised up "Max, take him out of here. Take him home" Laura said to the Guard who assisted James to walk. "Yes Ma" "Listen, I don't want to ever see this fool in my house" Phil said angrily to the guard "Yes sir"Max said and walked out with James. When the door closed behind them, Laura turned to her Roman Reigns of a husband "What in heaven's name was that about? You just embarassed my guest!"

She felt some of her anger strip away. She felt a tingle of excitement and she rubbed her hands together. Now she would destroy a bigger structure. She saw an icon with ‘HOME’ written on it. In most of the games, she played as a child the target would be to reach home. Maybe in this game, the target was to destroy the home. She used the arrow keys to point the gun icon to the ‘HOME’ icon. She was about to press the button when she heard Arnold’s voice, “Sarah! No! Have you gone crazy!? Why do you want to annihilate our home?”

I hope it's not another game of truth or dare cause I officially hate truth or dare actually I hate all games and I strongly believe the government should ban or at least create some kind of restrictions on games. “Umm what game exactly?” “ Didn't Max tell you” “ Bridgehall academy is playing their first ever homecoming game and it's tonight” I could see the excitement written all over his face with the way he displayed his 36 teeth, maybe just 26 if you counted it from his tiny mouth. “Homecoming?” I raised an eyebrow “ Yes, Charlotte, I really think you should come, it's a distraction from the whole new girl problem”. My eyes narrowed, was it obvious I was overthinking about the whole trut

With the white lights all around and light from the moon, everything was perfect and it was so serene, the entire smell of good food filling the air along with different smells of rich perfume. “So James, what do you do?” Raya began and it was so funny to James as she had the tone of a mother who is displeased at the fact that her daughter is getting married to some man. “I own a gaming company. J.I GAMING COMPANY.” He responded, taking a sip of his wine watching as Mrs Lily had not spoken or even looked at him but was serving a very picky Ivy food. “No way! The last game release was sick bro. I have to hand that to you.” Fredy complimented in excitement and James smiled appreciating him.

I say as I hold the door open for them to bundle inside. “Bought my game player, you know I never travel anywhere without it.” Calli comes through followed by Nolan and now with the three of them and me in the room, it suddenly looks like a tiny space. I mean we’re all over six feet and broad so you can well imagine. “Cool. What you got?” “Call of Duty, of course.” Calli says and sets it down on the table that sits beneath the large plasma screen. He starts messing around with the cables and then sets it up.

I wonder what he would be like in the sheets. I rip my eyes away from him because I don’t want him to catch me as I mentally undress him. He opens the door to the game room and says, “Let’s play!” Brandon and Caleb both look up from their games, and I smirk as I look around, impressed with their setup. Each of them had their own high-definition TV, and each had their own gaming console. There were a couple of extras too, but I noticed one TV that was bigger than the rest, and I would bet that one belonged to Archer.

I’m already off to a great start being away from home and all the drama that tends to follow me around while I’m there. As I unlock my front door, I’m thinking about how much fun game night has been, and I know that Reece and Gabe usually host it every week, but I offered to have it at my place every once in a while, if they want a break. Their other friends are not able to host it, and so I thought it was only fair that I offer, because I want this to become part of my weekly routine. I want different, I want new, I want anything that is not going to remind me of back home; except I still want Jace as well, and that makes no sense at all.
