I clenched my hands tightly. Panic gripped me as I recalled the helplessness I had felt in my dying moments during my previous life. When I felt the strength returning to my palms, I was finally certain—I had been reborn. I glanced at the clock, knowing I would be informed that my house was on fire soon. Right on cue, the phone rang. It was our neighbor, Paula Klein. She yelled, "Caroline, get back here! Luna and Liam are home napping. Emery just left, and he isn't picking up his phone! Hurry!"

"Go to Aunt Cleo!" Aqua's heart pounded in her chest as she stumbled towards the door, her legs shaking with fear. She glanced back to see her parents fighting valiantly, their magic clashing with the dark energy of their attackers. [Juliet's POV] The music at the celebration party continued. Surrounded by a crowd, Alison basked in the crowd's repetitive praises. Suddenly, a deafening boom came from the city walls. Overlapping growls and roars of zombies tore through the atmosphere. Terror erupted instantaneously. People in the crowd screamed, "It's a swarm of zombies! A massive swarm of zombies!" A guard ran over, staggering along the way. "The lightning barrier on the right of the base has been breached. There's a massive gap. Zombies are coming through soon!"

Makimi leans in to see what she was seeing and sees descriptive images of yokai stored on her phone. She scrolls through while reading their names.

Then, he quickly pulled his gun and cracked the zombie’s skull with it. It was amazing how calm he was while doing it. As if on cue, what looked like a small army of zombies came at us from out of the dark. Eddie hopped out of the van and stood next to Max, while Evan and Angela took a stance a bit further away.

I paused before adding, “I will try to question one of them when I go down to the dungeons.” “Okay, so you mean to say that thing is a zombie? What’s a zombie?” Lucas intervened, sounding confused and completely out of it. “A human turned creature.” Cassandra simply said. “Turned? Who turned them into creatures?” Lucas arched an inquiring eyebrow at her. “Well, we questioned one of them already. According to him, the Moon Howlers are experimenting on some humans and injecting them with some kind of venom which is turning them into those creatures but we still need to confirm that.” She told him about it but not before looking at me for consent to do so.

I immediately pulled out the knife behind my leg and throw it at the werewolf attacking in front. I quickly glanced at the one who hasn’t transformed yet but he doesn’t even budge, he is just watching. I grabbed this chance to throw one of my knives but his reflex in a human form is greater than I thought. He caught the knife and stared at the engraved symbol. “The famous clan of Ambrose,” he muttered but I didn’t pay any attention because we are now being outnumbered by these monsters. Rendall and I stopped attacking for a second and weigh the situation we are in. I was about to cover Rendall when I felt a hard thing bump into the back of my head. I touched it as I am slowly losing my balan

I didn’t hear it – I almost forgot that I should be deaf! I take back my baseball bat and smash its head. It takes 4 full strenght smash to die, I now realize why they called it a zombie. Every city in the world has an Island, which contains monsters. Did… the Island in this area not yet clean? No, it should be clean! Before facing Nathan, we made sure that all areas is cleaned.
