The Boy who Circled Time
He wondered idly if he was in the country above England, before quickly realising that he wouldn't be able to distinguish if it were true, unfamiliar with the accent and other languages.
A shooting star fell from the sky, a golden burning light, slowly shrinking, over the hills, until it became nothing, and the sky went back to black. Too small and feeble to begin with to ever make it to the earth, burning up into ash before it could even reach the hope of a grave.
He had no wish to make upon it. He had nothing. No dreams, no hopes, and no reason to keep going. He had no place here, or anywhere. He had nobody, with the only man he ever trusted, betrayed by him.
