Horror X Dust Novels & Stories

The stench of death hung in the air, Mike’s black ooze slowly seeping into the carpet. I forced myself to stay calm, my eyes scanning the rapidly scrolling chat. 【Wait, I think this is a word game!】 【What do you mean?】 【I’ve played horror games like this before. The Boss twists your wish! That guy said he wanted to ‘expose’ the Boss, and the Boss stripped all the flesh from his bones.】 【Holy crap, so how do you beat it?】

He vented all his fear of the horror game onto me just like before. Whenever Jack was bullied or ignored by others, he always came home and dumped all his resentment on me. His fists fell on me like raindrops. He had placed a restriction on me, and my whole body could not move. My eyes reddened, and veins bulged on my forehead. This scum—I would definitely kill him! The moon outside turned blood-red, and the air was filled with the smell of blood. In that instant, I seemed to hear something break. Then I bit down hard on Jack’s arm and tore off a piece of flesh.

She asked as she looked at him, slightly puzzled. “Yes and no,” he said as he ran his fingers through her hair and spread it out on the pillow behind her. “We are still human, just different from most humans. However, we are the same as well. I know it is hard to distinguish the hows and whys of that statement, but I know you know that already. Our kind is rare. Very rare. I have done a lot of research on the fact they mostly end up with total humans, and as far as I found, you and I may be the first pair of star dust children who ended up together. We will be on our own timetable. Our human side has its higher needs that have to be met, but so does our star dust side. I did notice that star

In the dim light and airborne dust, Hal could see Devine’s look of distaste. These were werewolves. They fought with teeth and claws. Yet, they were disgusted by a corpse. Maybe the fae tasted bad? He couldn’t make head nor tail of this, and he couldn’t shake the fact that Aria needed help to clear the debris safely. She may be a monster, but she needed help from a mere human right now.

They emerge from a hole in the ground, a dark and menacing opening that seems to be the very gate to the underworld. The Drider, an equally terrifying entity, accompanies them. Its appearance is a grotesque blend of spider and humanoid, with a body covered in dark hair and long, sharp legs that creak with every movement. Its eyes, a bloody red, reflect pure malice and an insatiable thirst for power. Together, Drider and the Skinning of the mind are the embodiment of horror, a sight that could chill the bravest of souls to the bone.

"Exactly. And you have our support." Astrid grins mischievously, trying to lighten the mood. "Dex I heard about your… interesting reaction to horror movies." Dexter rolls his eyes but couldn't suppress a smile. "Alright, alright, you got me. I've never liked them. Real horrors are easier to face because you can fight back. But in movies, it’s the helplessness, the anticipation of something you can't see coming—it gets under my skin." Phoenix and Astrid exchanged glances, their amusement replaced with understanding. Phoenix nods. "Makes sense. In real life, you can control. Movies, not so much."

I peeked out from behind the rock I was hiding behind as Ruari let out a growl. “You assholes.” he roared. “Big talk coming from someone just standing there like a fucking statue.” Uilleam pointed out. I watched as my big bad alpha scooped up a handful of snow and chucked it at a tree. I hear a loud yelp as Lance leaned out from behind the tree glaring at Ruari. I have no idea when he and Xo arrived, but that meant that Dorian was also here. I looked around and made my exit. The boys can stay and play. I had to stop as I walked back when I felt a little lightheaded and nauseous.

The weapon didn't hit Katherine’s physical form, it dissolved right through the smoke, but the tip had been dipped in crushed wolfsbane from the woods. The toxic dust scattered into the air, creating a sudden, bitter barrier that forced the smoke cloud to violently snap back into a physical form. Katherine stumbled, her black eyes flashing with irritation as she brushed the gray dust off her arms. "Stupid boy." Xavier didn't stop to fight her. He lunged forward, grabbing Duncan by the shoulder of his torn coat.

“A trail of disappearances and killings since 1992. It’s not a coincidence.” We all moved toward the pile, tension rising in the room. I flipped through the first few clippings, and a chill ran down my spine as I read the headlines. “Missing: Five people over a six-month period”. “Local youth found dead under strange circumstances”. “This is it,” I murmured, as the horror of what we were facing began to set in. The skinwalker had been active, lurking in the shadows of Dust Bowl, playing a twisted game with the town and its people. And we were about to learn just who it used to be.
