FATED CHASE

FATED CHASE

Silas uttered with a low tone. “It's late. By the way, what do you expect from a sparsely populated area?” I spoke. “Hmm,” he expressed Suddenly, someone came out of the adjacent direction and fired a bullet into the air. Silas reduced the speed of the car and approached him gently. Who could that be?! As we drew close, with the car headlights shining on the person; we recognized him. I and Silas exchanged glances before yelling. “It is the criminal!” I called the manager of Daisy Club and requested that his security guards should follow after us. I also informed him that the criminal we are searching for is blocking our path.

Hunting for Midnight

Hunting for Midnight

I shouted in vain, painfully aware of his lack of control. Dread grips me like a vice storming up the stairs after my brother, knowing all too well that nothing I say will stop him. Especially now that there's a chance for him to play one of his favorite, demented predator vs. prey games— ‘When I catch you, you’re mine.

Chasing the Sun

Chasing the Sun

His mind was a jumble of thoughts he didn't want to think about. How long did it take him to reach the hospital from his office? 10 minutes, 13 if he included the 3 minute call from Rafe, telling, no, breaking the bomb of the news that Caroline was shot while getting in the car. Declan had chased the hitman and caught him only to find him swallowing the cyanide capsule in his teeth.

Readers discretion is advised Thank you for reading- S.E Dymek**** Chasing: Her chest hit the cold hard ground. She laid flat against the ground trying not to be seen. Pieces of dirt floating up into the air around her. The smell of the earth invaded her nostrils. Her blonde braided hair falling infront of her dirt stained face as she looked out over their encampment. She had been tracking them for miles. It had felt like days had passed each time she got a little closer. She was counting them. They were the size of

A Hunt For His Queen

A Hunt For His Queen

"The night you went to that boy's party, remember the night? And guess what my men found with him?" With my lips parted in shock, I stared at him. "A gun." I gasped. H-he wanted to kill me? Then memories hit my head. That red car behind me in the alleys. A man with a dark cap on his head, covering his face. He followed me until I escaped him to the main street. I totally forgot about him. "He wanted to…"

Cherry
No cheating, no rape, no other woman drama, no crazy exes, no past gf or wife rising from the grave, just no dumb shit. Good plot, good development, good writing, thrilling and suspenseful. Love how Syl is obsessed with Sandra.
Riley02
Between this book and The trap of Ace I liked this one more. One of the reasons is that Syl never had a girl, didn’t look at any women, didn’t sleep around with women. He was truly dedicated, in love, and obsessed with her Sandra!! I love that he can almost read Sandra’s mind. Love this book.

OBSESSED (Book One)

OBSESSED (Book One)

If only he knew just how much I loved a good challenge. "Are you daring me?" I asked and he scoffed. "Hurry up princess, you're taking too much…," he's saying but before he completes whatever it is he has to say, I pull it. I pulled the damn trigger and my oh my was it satisfying to watch Katherine fight so hard to survive whilst been unable to scream out loud and then and there, I watched her eyes widen slightly one last time before it finally closed, with her blood pouring out of her stomach, where I had actually aimed at and surprisingly didn't miss and I could tell by how long it took her to actually stop breathing that she still tried to fight even in death. Sad but interesting.

Business and Pleasure (Hamartia Trilogy Book 1)

Business and Pleasure (Hamartia Trilogy Book 1)

Where was Harriet? But before my thoughts could take me far, I heard the faintest of footsteps. I raised a finger to signal for the men to stop and they all halted behind me without argument. The footsteps slowly went louder—closer. And I aim my gun at the closed door. I heard the knob jiggle, and I tightened my grip on my gun. The door burst open. And as if in slow motion the glass window burst into pieces and the man fell on the floor even before the door hit the wall. I stare at the body in front of me. Following the direction where the bullet came from, I saw the quick reflection of light with the sun.

High In Pursuit

High In Pursuit

In tenterhooks, she resumed her escapade attempt. The cold, limpid eyes are glinting red. The man straightened his languid and hunching back. The knife inside his hand is spinning and twirling excitedly. He was finally serious about doing his task and decided to stop playing around. "Time to run, little mouse." ------- Hasty and rushed footsteps are echoing in the background. Harsh and laborious breathing alongside whimpers of pain sounded intermittently on this fathomless night. Darkness is everywhere, and the faint footsteps soon become louder as the source approaches at a steady pace.

Thrill of the Chase

Thrill of the Chase

—FLASHBACK— My Last Day on Hayman Island Thad met up with Justin as planned, and I enjoyed every moment of him talking about his date with Ariel. They met during the laser tag game. But after that, things went downhill. Why, you ask? Because I'm just dumb, that's why. I'd soon realize I didn't deserve someone like Max Blackwell. "So, this is it, huh?" Beth said as I packed. "The book's almost done, so you're ready to go."

HUNTED

HUNTED

His gaze never wavered, holding on, sharp enough to cut diamond if he tried. They locked onto mine and everything else in the bar blurred into bleariness. The music faded from my ears just as all the people present there disappeared. Now there was only him and the weight of his stare burning through me. Heat rushed through every single corner of me until I was oversaturated. My body burned as the intensity of his emerald eyes aroused me. There was something about him that just felt dangerous in a predatory way. His eyes slowly checked me out, causing sensations to bombard me.
