Ignacio had booked a suite for us, and as we entered, I was blown away by the luxurious décor. The suite had a spacious living room, a dining area, and a bedroom with a king-sized bed. There was also a balcony that offered a breathtaking view of the city. We freshened up and decided to explore the city. Ignacio had arranged for a private tour guide to take us around, and we spent the day visiting some of Dubai's famous landmarks. We saw the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, and the iconic Burj Al Arab, a luxury hotel shaped like a sailboat. We also visited the Dubai Mall, one of the largest malls in the world, and had a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants.

THE BURJ AL ARAB – DUBAI ​The lobby of the Burj Al Arab was a masterpiece of architectural arrogance—a cathedral of gold leaf, vibrant azure carpets, and water features that defied the desert heat. Olivia Camery As soon as I arrived in Dubai and the hotel that we will stay in. I looked around the hotel pretending that I'm interested with all of the facilities. I mean the hotel was so beautiful. It has a big aquarium where we can see all the fishes. It's beautiful but I'm more concentrating on my runaway plan now.. I already looked at all the places and now all I need to do is to find someone who is willing to help me. It's 12 o'clock in the afternoon where people are coming out for lunch.

It is already 6:09 pm, and the guests are slowly marching themselves forward. I observe the face of the hotel. It seems that its design is inspired by a fusion of The Great Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi and The Fullerton Hotel found in Singapore. It’s breathtakingly beautiful the hairs on my arms start to stand. I feel so small standing here in front of this beautiful and huge man-made sepulcher. Everything found on the exterior of the hotel does not equal what’s inside tho.

The more I thought about it, the worse the logic became. The car took us into the busy streets of Abu Dhabi, so different than Dubai in startling ways that it had me in awe looking out the window of the town car we were in. Too bad the circumstances of our visit had come to this. I really would've loved to explore the city and all of its glory. Though I had a feeling once we were finally done with all of this, I'd never want to step foot on these streets again. “Alright, let’s get out of here. I’ve got a surprise for you.” He takes my hand and leads the kids and me out to a sleek black car waiting outside the terminal. The drive through the shimmering streets of Dubai is surreal. Skyscrapers stretch into the sky, gleaming with glass and gold. The kids press their faces to the windows, oohing and aahing at the incredible sights. I lean my head back against the seat, trying to enjoy it, but the tiredness is creeping back in. Soon, we pull up in front of the most luxurious hotel I’ve ever seen. It’s massive, with towering arches and golden domes that glitter under the sun. Fountains gush in the courtyard.

Dubai is such a beautiful place. The tall and huge buildings were such a sight to behold. We also did a lot of activities. We cycled around Al Qudra Lakes, kayak through the Abu Dhabi Mangroves and we visited Hatta Wadi Hub. We stayed in Dubai for a week.
