Simon just chuckled at the irritated Mark. They were driving towards the airport when Amanda’s phone rang. “Hello?” Amanda could not hear the other line clearly. She was hearing static sounds followed by a voice machine. “Hello?” she greeted again waiting for someone to speak. “Hello! Welcome to ‘how to make babies dot com’” the voicemail said. She quickly ended the call knowing that it was a prank call. She’s receiving such calls recently. She would just block the number.

I kissed his lips as he kissed back, and he slowly woke up. "Nolan, your hand", he listened and removed his bulky hand and as I tiptoed to his phone he watched the view from the bed. "It's a scam likely call", I told him as I shut it off yet again. Nolan was smiling until he heard what I said and dug himself back into the pillow. "Just call back and tell them don't call again", he mumbled into the pillow as I clicked on the same number that had called him 27 times, every minute for the last hour. It would've been 3 in the morning in Seattle, this must be a very devoted caller.

I opened my phone when a message came in from a private number, "Xavier's mom will meet someone tomorrow at Reign Mall at 3:40 pm, make sure to be there on time and that will be your first clue." Was this some sort of prank? How is it even possible? I dialed a friend's number who worked in the airport and she picked up the fourth ring. "Hey Skylar, can you please do me a favor?" I asked over the phone. "What favor Madi, anything for you, "Skylar's sweet voice said through her phone. "I would like to check Mrs. Anita Williams' travel history in and out of the country," I asked, Skylar sighed over the phone.

I dashed out the door, grabbed the phone, and saw that someone was calling. From an unknown phone number. "Hello? Who's there?" and "Can you hear me?" I asked hesitantly but there was no voice on the other end. "Hello?" Is this some sort of joke? Sometimes someone plays pranks on the phone, and other times it has to do with international scams. "Hello?" I thought I heard a voice from there. It sounded like the voice of a young woman. It's upbeat and joyful. "Hello, what can I do for you?"

He rasped out. “That’s none of your business and besides I’d never tell!” I hung up and replaced the phone on the table. “Who was that?” Stacy perked up. “Some rando wanting to know if Mr and Mrs Peters were home.” I shrugged. “That’s pretty weird a q-“ Stacy was interrupted by the ringing phone and she paled in response. “What exactly is your problem? It isn’t Halloween so quit your prank calling and sick jokes!” I lashed out. “If they were home they’d have come to the phone already so I’ll just break it to ya...” he paused releasing a low sinister chuckle under his breath.

Henry August scratched his head while pondering in his mind and said, "No idea. Could it be that it is from our enemy? Maybe our enemy planned to trap us." Daniel Brooke shrugged in frustration. "As of now, we have to play along. We will withdraw the money tomorrow morning, but we have to be more careful." They sat down on the sofa and started discussing how to deal with this situation. This person was speaking in riddles. I can’t help but hang up the call. It must be one of the youngsters playing pranks on me. I haven’t been able to drop the phone when it started ringing again, it was the same number. I hesitated before picking up the call. “Look, I’m very busy right now and the last thing I need is a prank—“ “End the call on me again and I swear today would be the last time you’d ever smile again.” The person threatened. I held the phone tightly.
