Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

I also did not miss the hard intakes of breath coming from Mica and April. I stared at them curiously. Cousin, right? Mica caught me staring at her and realized how obvious they were in ogling at Hunter. She glared at me. I just shook my head and looked away. Tania was nowhere in sight. But I was still pretty sure this weekend was going to be epic! The house was a magnificent combination of wood and glass. The ceilings were high and the walls facing the beautiful view of the lake was made of glass, making the whole house almost visible to anybody on the opposite side.

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

Beneath Stained Glass Wings

Beneath Stained Glass Wings

It’s wings. A sick chill wracks my body and I crouch, ready to leap and run from the hunters and worse. But no. Between two iridescent, rainbow-casting wings is a pale, dung-colored dragon. I narrow my eyes and he plops down next to me, sending a whirlwind of sand into my face. He looks small here, the great beast seeming like nothing compared to the expanse of sand.

His Wife, His Wingman, His Regret

His Wife, His Wingman, His Regret

Light fell across the wing like a cold white flight path. At the door, he stopped and looked back. "Ava," he said softly. "I'm sorry." I held his gaze. "I heard you." The last light in Ethan's eyes went out. The door closed behind him, and the music in the hall grew clear again. Julian handed the demonstration terminal back to me. The next unconfirmed flight path waited on the screen. I lowered my gaze to the new route and set my finger down steadily. "Continue." On the projection screen, the formation rose again.

Time to Spread My Wings

Time to Spread My Wings

" They hopped in their car and peeled out, leaving me alone outside the venue. The wind bit into me. I tugged my coat closer and waved down a cab home. All my stuff had been thrown outside, dumped across the doorstep like garbage. The maid looked sorry as she said, "Mr. and Mrs. Swain told me you have to leave and never come back." I didn't charge in to yell at them. I just packed up quietly, then walked away with my things. That very night, I got on a plane out of town, heading to a hidden research base run by the National Space Agency. Just before I left, I texted everyone, "I, Wanda Swain, am officially done with the Swains for good and by choice."

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

“No argument here!” We sprinted down the hallway as the house wailed around us— walls buzzing, windows shaking, chandeliers swaying wildly. Sebastian was coming. And he wasn’t coming quietly.

Crowned by Claws

Crowned by Claws

"Camilla, you chose your own path. And those wolves… You ruined them yourself. You insisted on using your so-called comforts to strip away their claws. Once they lost their strength, of course, they’d treat you like currency to stay alive. Isn’t that only natural?" Camilla opened her mouth, ready to scream back, but before she could, the three former royal heirs had already stepped forward. They looked at the powerful army of wolves behind me, their eyes filled with jealousy and fear. Knowing they had no chance in a direct fight, the three of them exchanged a glance and made their decision. Without warning, they lunged forward together, targeting Cael at the front. Midair, I saw the glint of

Beneath the Whip

Beneath the Whip

Something had to change, and I would have to find the strength to make it happen, even if it meant facing the storm head-on. *** CHRIS’ POV After striking Judy, I returned home in a haze, my insides churning with a mix of emotions I couldn’t seem to untangle. My footsteps echoed through the empty halls, each one heavier than the last, as if the weight of what I had done was physically dragging me down. The house, usually a place of calculated calm, felt suffocating tonight. Once inside, I found myself drawn to the room where my father’s belongings were stored. It was a vast, untouched space—more like a shrine to his memory.
