Captured by the Demon King

Captured by the Demon King

I snapped my head up and a gasp escaped me. Adrian's wings had shot out from his back, the blackness devouring the little light that was present in the room, the enormous size of them spanning across the entire back wall. Beastly, black as night and touching both of the walls, they swayed softly. Adrian had his head back, his face tight with something. Slowly, he looked down at me and blinked a few times. "The wings... They extract when I can't control myself. It's the beast in me telling me to fight." He explained. Wide-eyed, I still looked at him and his wings. I would be absolutely terrified if I didn't know this demon, if I hadn't felt this comfortable. "That mouth of yours is really goi

His Wife, His Wingman, His Regret

His Wife, His Wingman, His Regret

Light fell across the wing like a cold white flight path. At the door, he stopped and looked back. "Ava," he said softly. "I'm sorry." I held his gaze. "I heard you." The last light in Ethan's eyes went out. The door closed behind him, and the music in the hall grew clear again. Julian handed the demonstration terminal back to me. The next unconfirmed flight path waited on the screen. I lowered my gaze to the new route and set my finger down steadily. "Continue." On the projection screen, the formation rose again. This time, I was the one giving the command.

My Mate's Rejection

said Dwayne before picking her up again and going up the stairs , he could hear some of the servants trying hard to control their giggles but he didn't care as he just smiled to himself. I Beat Horror With Feelings

I Beat Horror With Feelings

I wanted to call my manager, but once you entered the game, you were stuck until it ended. Forget it. I should make the most of this rare chance. I shoved the heavy gates open. Seriously, where did the game company blow the budget? The paint was still tacky. They couldn't even wait for it to dry before throwing people into beta. A stale, rotten smell hit me. I brushed a curtain of cobwebs off a branch and looked around, grinning. Stone walls. Dark slate roofs. Covered walkways, courtyards, bridges, narrow streams. The manor checked every box for a fancy estate.

House Of Zeus

House Of Zeus

The rest of the way up the mountain seemed farther. Five minutes into my resting period, I bought out my phone, glancing at the time. An hour and half and I hadn't found any mansion, this hunt is over! I'm going home. Before I could get up, she approached, waltzing down the mountain like it was nothing, with an angelic smile on her face. She was beautiful, too beautiful to be human, her skin was pale beige. They shone brightly as the sun enhanced it's brightness. She held a golden staff with rainbow colored winged symbol on it.

Command of the Wolf

Command of the Wolf

I twisted around, peering at the walls, which were blurry like wet paint that had bled…and were closing in. I gripped Mischief, as I yelled up at the ceiling, “That’s it, Spooks, enough with the cheap tricks.” The walls only wavered closer, as a joyful pop ballad burst from the floor. Mischief jumped, and his nose scrunched in disdain. “On my wings, are we to be driven to insanity by—” “Robbie Williams serenading us with “Angels”?” My ears ached at the loudness. Mischief attempted to muffle the song by wrapping his wings more closely around my head. “Who knew that this house had such a sadistic sense of humor?”

Bringer Of Darkness

Bringer Of Darkness

The beat flew over the city, and his huge black wings opened while dark smoke raised from the city to the sky. The beast turned and disappeared between the smokescreens, appearing after a while beyond the city, over the ravine, while he headed towards the Bochus. He opened his mouth, purging fire over the structure, destroying it. He looked at the devastation while he heard the desperate screams. He turned his head to where the screams were coming from and saw a group of men and women, wailing and terrified: one of them had fallen on his knees and was screaming, punching the ground, praying to stop that massacre.

His Wingless Second Chance Mate

His Wingless Second Chance Mate

The walls absorbed my whispers—the ache of abandonment, the yearning for permanence. Years of scrimping and saving had led me to the day I could have finally claimed my little blue beetle. She sat outside the record store, her faded paint a testament to resilience. Not sleek or glamorous, but she wore her scars with pride. Running on silent prayers and sheer determination, she should have retired to the junkyard long ago. Yet here she was, mine—a survivor like me.

I Was Meant to Fly, but They Clipped My Wings

I Was Meant to Fly, but They Clipped My Wings

I hurried ahead as the music played through my earphones. I thought I could get away from this mess, but Diana Fowler suddenly broke away from the two thugs. She gazed at me with eyes full of tears, clutching my arm so hard she left two bloody scratches. "Help me, Levi!" I instinctively shook off her hand, acting as though I had encountered something terrifying.
