How Do I Get Magic Powers Novels & Stories

They appeared ordinary enough–there were no markings or signs of something otherworldly or unusual. “How am I supposed to find the magic? Are you going to train me or something?” I asked. Sofia laughed. “It’s not really something I can train, not at first. My work here has mainly been to see if I can coax the magic out of you. Otherwise, it is likely that you would have never realized you had any powers at all.” I flailed around, trying to conjure some sort of light or blast or something. “How am I supposed to wake it up?”

"Update completed, your new power is known as mind control which means that you have the ability to make a living organism do whatever you want" "This is amazing" Kaikuh thought as she became excited and tried using her abilities. "What's going on? Why can't I control the beast" Kaikuh thought as she tried using the powers. A message then popped up saying, "Just like your mind reading abilities, you can't just start from the top, currently your at level on of this ability, which means you have to be in physical contact with the person before you would be able to activate mind control"

I stared at her in reluctance. "Powerful magic comes with a strong concentration and mind." She tapped her head. "Think really hard about what you want to do. Build it in your mind and bend it at your will." Then, she grinned, her eyes twinkling, and waved her hand in encouragement. "You can do it, Cyan."

—actually using the power to do something tangible rather than simply experiencing it. "I'm going to place a candle in front of you," Morgana said, positioning a white taper candle about three feet away from where Aria sat. "I want you to light it using your magic." "How?" Aria asked. "I don't know how to do that." "You will intuitively know," Morgana said. "Your power is ancient and instinctive. Trust it. Close your eyes, connect with the silver light, and then imagine the flame coming to life. See it in your mind first, and then let your magic make it real."

At the mention of my parents death I had to hold the tears down. “The girl will bear a scare the shape of a bow and arrow”. “They will be born in the month of June and their name will begin with a K”. Ok so all of these things linked to me but is there no other girl in the world that had all these things also? I thought I asked “ when you said withstand all the powers needed to get rid of them what did you mean? I don’t have any powers”. “Not yet you don’t, there are four groups of powers and you must claim a part of them all, to do this someone from each area of power must give over theirs and sacrifice it to you, you will then be able to channel all of these and use them”.

Since the trio already decided to accept the mission, they have already done their research, and this is what they found out so far based on the old accounts recorded on the books. In Dystopia, magic comes from previous lives' power. All the power and knowledge one gains in life are passed onto new life through reincarnation, so those fortunate enough to be reincarnated through a powerful life are given great powers. Wars have been fought in the past in an attempt to shift knowledge from one nation to another. By killing powerful people of one nation and making sure there is much birth in another, chances of reincarnation of powerful souls are higher in the latter.

It is time I used my power for good. The water ripples around me as I pull on my power. I close my eyes and tilt my head back to the sky. With my free hand, I raise it and slowly release my magic. I open my eyes and direct the light towards the dead female. I watch as the power encases her. A golden glow forms around her.

I groan, fixing my ass on the nearest empty stool. "Jaden, you promised you were going to make me spell." "I really can’t, okay?" Jaden throws the knife aside, stopping whatever it is he was chopping. "This is your new life now. The only way out of here, Maya, is to get your complete powers." "How do I do it? When I get one step closer, everything blocks off." I sigh because it's pretty frustrating. The only reason I need my powers is to flee back to the California yet I'm fighting like I'd actually sit on the throne.

Percival said with a supportive smile. She nodded. "I'm in." Mr. Percival grinned and sat up. "We'll use two methods to make sure your powers appear. First, you'll go on missions given to the mage kingdom, because you're part of them now. You'll also join mixed missions that include the best fighters from all kingdoms. The idea is for the feelings you'll experience on these missions—like self-defense, the need to protect someone, and even anger—to trigger your powers. "Second, the most powerful mage in Shadowbrook Academy will tutor you and guide you in training. I've already made the arrangements. I believe if you go through these processes, your powers will appear in no time."

I delved deep into the core of my being, seeking the reservoir of courage that had guided me through countless trials. In moments of solitude, I practiced, honing my focus and concentration. I visualized the power as a delicate thread, one that I could weave and manipulate with finesse. It was a slow, painstaking process, but with each small victory, my confidence grew. I began to understand the ebb and flow of the magic, sensing its rhythms and patterns. It was as if I was learning to dance with a tempest, finding harmony amidst the chaos. The power became less of a threat and more of a challenge, a puzzle waiting to be solved.
