Can't See But Feel

Can't See But Feel

The grip wasn’t as gentle as always but I shrugged it off. “I can only imagine how beautiful this place would be.” I mumbled closing my eyes and trying to get comfortable in his arms but I couldn’t. There was something different. “Flowers look beautiful right? I guessed that because a thing with so tempting scent can only be beautiful” I mumbled. He placed his chin on my shoulder. Something was wrong. I wasn’t feeling safe in his arms. I didn’t feel the warmth I always felt in his touch. There was a complete distress in me. My soul wasn’t satisfied with the touch. It was disturbed.

MOONBOUND

MOONBOUND

CHAPTER TWELVE POV: ELARA The imprint did not feel the way I expected. I had braced for something romantic like a warmth, pull, you know the kind of thing novels described in italics. What it actually felt like was rewiring. Someone had taken the circuitry of my nervous system and updated it without asking. I started knowing things before they were obvious for instance like an anger in the heart disguised as a smile on the face.

His Regret,Her Revenge

His Regret,Her Revenge

I got up, walked to the table, and laid my hand on the cover. The warmth spread through my palm, up my arm, into my chest, flooding my body with a gentle heat that felt like coming home. I felt the mark on my shoulder flare in response, matching the rhythm of the book's glow. It wasn't painful anymore. It was familiar. Comforting. Like greeting an old friend after years apart. I opened the book. The words were there, waiting for me. "Your power is not something you learn. It's something you remember."

Beneath The Scars

Beneath The Scars

Hearing that she had stopped speaking her mum turned her face to her saying " The book ended with her dying . That's the story . "How did you feel while reading it ?" I felt like I was back to my old self with my problems gone ."Good that what I wanted to hear . Today's book is titled Emily it's a teen book ,can't wait for you to come back tomorrow and narrate it ." Same thanks Josy . I sat on the bench as I opened the book titled Emily. Life can sometimes hit you real bad. To think that you will wake up everyday and see that beautiful face . That face that means the world to you . To come back from work and be greeted by that person .

Have you seen me?

Have you seen me?

I say and with that , I feel his strong arm wrap around me and with one lift ,I am off the ground. THIS FEELS SO GOOD! It does not feel dirty , it does not feel uncomfortable – it feels like something natural. I feel my problem melt away , our bodies so close together brings so much calm. When he puts me down , I shiver from the detachment of our bodies. Standing there , watching him exercise makes me admire his imperfectly perfect self. Though he is not the skinniest , my eyes can not look away from him – it is like no other man is worth looking at anymore.

Luna Wicken

Luna Wicken

I pulled away as soon as I felt him touch me. "I'll be down once I've finished this book," I lied again. I turned my attention back to the books, not worrying about the fact that I would be hurt again by not wanting him to touch me. The more books I read, the better I started to feel. I didn't know what it meant; all I knew was that I needed to read them. Every part of me screamed for the information that was in them. But the strange thing was, it wasn't about the words that were written on the pages as I flicked through them. I didn't read a single word. As I scanned the pages, I could hear the voices of the people who had written the books. They were telling me their stories.

The Moon's Descendant

The Moon's Descendant

One of his books landed at my feet, I crouched down to pass it to him. “Sorry, is this yours?” I asked him. He snatched the book and tried standing up, but the fall must have hurt him because he was wobbly on his feet. I grabbed his shoulders to give him a lift, but as soon as I touched him, he jumped and fell back down again. There was a tingle in my hands, a spark that travelled from my fingers and all the way into my chest. I never felt something like that before. The kid was scared, I could smell that, but something about him smelt different, something I couldn’t make out.

The story is really good! The writer seemed to be learning how to tell the story from two perspectives. At first the author rewrote whole scenes but listened to readers and adapted it a little better. Still some time jump with perspective changes. Zelena has so many powers it seems a lil contrived.

Your Dad's Perfect

Your Dad's Perfect

I watch him get dressed and walk out. It fucking hurts, and I've never read a book that describes it as has been painful and hurting. It might say it stings slightly, but nothing like what I felt.

Reborn from Ashes

Reborn from Ashes

Khalid explained and then again I felt another shiver and took a deep breath, fighting my urge to fight, because it was a bad feeling, I could feel it as if insects were walking on my skin. "There is something, maybe it's a spell." Khalid let go of my face and that feeling stopped. "Because you weren't supposed to feel like that, it was supposed to be something soft and gentle, not cold and disgusting." I took a deep breath. ************ Note: Don't forget to like, comment and share the book! This really helps it grow on the platform

Surrogate For The Mafia Lord

Surrogate For The Mafia Lord

"There's nothing that compares to it. The weight of it, the texture of the cover, the way the spine makes that little cracking sound when you open it for the first time..." Her body actually shivers as she describes this, and I'm stunned to find myself responding to her passion. If I didn't know better, I'd think she was describing an intimate encounter rather than reading a book. Her cheeks are flushed, her breathing slightly quicker, and there's a brightness to her eyes that's utterly mesmerizing. I should reconsider my opinion of libraries, it seems. I could listen to her talk about this for hours, though I'm becoming uncomfortably aware of a tightening in my trousers. Xavier would laugh
