You left Dad and me for money and became Mr. Fred Duncan’s mistress, only to marry him later when you were pregnant.” Cecile’s face turned red with rage. “You’re just like your father! Always bitter and never happy to see anyone else’s success.” Ophelia, seeing the opportunity, started to cry dramatically. “Mom, did you know? Lilian even dumped her boyfriend Max to become some old rich man’s mistress! That’s what I heard.”
