How Long Should A Chapter Be In A Fantasy Novel Novels & Stories

This has been irritating me for a few days. To the people complaining about how the chapters are broken up, this is not a decision I made myself. I'm doing what I was told to do. GN wants chapters under 1k words to make them easier to purchase. Especially with bonus coins. My chapters tend to be 3-4k words so I HAVE to break them up. The first few chapters that are free I kept at their regular length because they are free, but the chapters starting from where it goes to PTR I was told to make shorter. BBTB was supposed to be a short story project. I was so worried it would be a flop so I planned to make it between 40-80 chapters. But the story grew wings and took off on its own. 3. This is the longest story I have ever written. I am just as surprised as you are and I was pleasantly shocked to see comments wanting their lovestory to go on for much longer. Those comments kept me going even on the bad days. So, thank you.

My thinking is that I add an authors note a the end of 'book' 1 so to speak and re-write the synopsis to advise any new readers that it will be 2 books in one. Alternatively, the other idea I had was to just have a longer book, but I don't want the length to scare off new readers. Thanks in advance! :)

Anyone wants to help me with editing of chapters ? I am thinking of having some rederss to help m with it . You will have to edit at least hundred or thousand words per day. Since that is the amount of words that are right and fourth chapter or somewhere around two thousand I'm not sure if you are interested or not but just a sort of helping me since I'm overloaded with other work but I can write the chapter and give it to you and then later on you can see and edit them hope that works out
