How Many Chapters Does A Book Usually Have Novels & Stories

In line with this, I will take it a little slow in my next book, enough for my eyes to rest so they won't get strained from all the screen time. I know you are all used to me delivering two chapters daily on most days, but in the next book, I will probably publish an average of nine to ten chapters per week. I need this badly, so I am asking for your understanding. Note that you can always read at the end of the week or after the book is completed. What book will I publish next?

Hi there, readers! I have a question I would like to ask all of you. If you've read any of my previous books, you'll note that my chapters aren't really that long. I've wanted to keep these chapters in short bursts like I did with Nikolai and Dimitri's book, but I am finding that there's just too much happening with Umiko and Fenriz that it is impossible to keep the chapters short. The reason why I used to keep my chapters below 2k words is because the more words I write per chapter, the more you pay to unlock them.

Don't worry about that, it's just that a major national examination is commencing which can get me in college 😳 and it might delay in me posting but as I said before, you don't have to worry about it. Do you think the coins for each chapter of our book is too much? Let me explain something to you, I provide more words in a chapter and that means longer reading. Goodnovel expects me to make it 1.5k or something but as a reader myself, shorter chapters annoy me. Because I want more info in a go. I hope you understand what I mean?

Hello guys. So I've seen some complaints about me updating only once a day and I just want to clarify something. I write very long chapters. Some of my chapters can go up to 2800 words. And while other authors would rather divide that word count into two, I chose to publish it at once because of the cost of chapters on the app nowadays.

I like making my chapters at least 3k words because I pack a lot into one chapter and I am unable to do that with a word limit of 1500-2k (to keep my chapters affordable I need to keep them between that word count). This story is dragging on because I'm trying to figure out how to keep it at a good pace while also keeping the chapters short and sweet. I'm afraid I'll either make the story too fast or as I am making it now, too slow. I am unable to find a healthy balance and this story is starting to become more of a burden than a joy like it originally is supposed to be.

The novel has 52 chapters including the prologue and epilogue. I closed my laptop before I walk out of my room, I look at Janine and Shia who are eating their chips while they are watching. “Oh, hi!” Janine greeted me when she noticed me. “You didn’t tell me that you’re going here,” I say, I sit beside her. “Is it required?” she asks, I laugh, “I’m watching with my friend, I don’t want to talk to anyone,” she added before she look at the TV again. Shia looked at Janine.

) I will be sure they are closer to completion before I begin posting, that way I can have a better set schedule for you all. This book has been ongoing for about 9 months. There is still so much more story that needs to happen and I expect the chapter count to be at least double what it is now, if not more. While I do have an outline, and I know where each of the characters and story will go, I have zero idea how long it will take me to get there. However, I will GUARANTEE it will not be one of those soap opera type books that just keep going and going, like the Energizer bunny, with no end in sight. There will be a definitive end, hopefully within the next 6 months.

Since there are so many different things going on at the same time, I wrote the next several chapters out and am now trying to tie them together in the most logical order. Thanks for your understanding and patience as I wrap up this book. Endings are the hardest when writing a book because you have to tie everything back together and made sure everything and everyone has closure. 12 chapters left in this book, and two more chapters will be coming today.
