How Many Words In A Chapter Novels & Stories

Hehe, I'm sure some of you thinks she's just a cranky old lady, but she is one of my favorite additions to the cast and kind of my own way to vent against certain aspects of my own characters, lmao. In other words, she allows me to whine on Jace and I love it. • Why the short chapters? When I first started writing back in 2018, I use to make MEGA long chapters and I mean, INSANELY long! My first book, Laws of the Pack, had an average of around 5000 words per chapter which lead me to have very frequent writer blocks since I had to constantly think of extra text or out of no where context to fill up the gaps. In the Filipino version the epilogue was divided in two, and the chapters are 161 in total. However this version will only have 156 chapters BUT don't worry. I didn't remove any scenes/chapter.
