"I’ve lived in the trash for fifty years, kid!" Jack yelled, his voice crackling with static. "I’m not letting some glorified office-supply giant delete the only interesting thing to happen to this server since 1998!"

Maya's cheeks flushed slightly, but she quickly hid her embarrassment and said while looking away, "You just hate admitting that you're a loser." Jack laughed and shrugged. "No, I'm not." Then he leaned forward with a broad smile. "I'm just playing the role of a coward." Maya placed a hand on her forehead as though she had completely lost hope in him. "You're such a terrible actor... so why don't you stop pretending?" Jack laughed loudly. "If I stop... everything will come to an end." I smiled silently as I watched the two of them bicker. I knew the truth Jack was hiding from everyone that he was actually the Prince of the Ghouls but I remained silent, just as I had promised him.

I’m about to pour a glass of wine when I feel Harrison’s hand at the small of my back. “You look like you’re already thinking about what’s going to happen next,” he says, voice pitched low, amused. “I’ve been thinking about it since this morning,” I murmur. That was when Jack changed a diaper one-handed while shirtless and sipping coffee, muttering about how he deserved a medal. The man has three Celtic tattoos, two of them vaguely threatening, and somehow still managed to look like a dad pinup from a calendar no one’s brave enough to print. And he wasn’t even trying.

Hazel wanted to know. "Well, Skully and I developed some sort of friendship. I didn't trust him at first, but his trickery ways had me fooled. My portal ruby got stolen in Dead Man's Cave by a ghost clown, and Skully was the one who found it and returned it to me. He could have used it and gone to the human world, but he didn't and that's how he gained my trust.," she paused before she continued.

Ethan delivered the last blow on the practicing marionette. Every single one of them had been broken and destroyed. His dad applauded from where he sat. "Bravo! Nice going son!" Ethan smiled. "It will take weeks to have all these fixed up," one of his dad's workers grumbled. Kevin scoffed from the door way. "That's hardly anything! When I was your age, I had taken down 7000 marionette blindfolded--" Ethan clenched his fists. "While eating breakfast," Kevin added smugly.

Then both Jack and Susan get into a conversation that Elizabeth doesn't understand. Elizabeth just looks at Jack. He is 6 feet tall and has pale skin just like hers. He is wearing an all-black outfit and a pair of black shoes. His hair is undercut on all sides, with long hair on his head neatly styled. He has trimmed his beard slightly and has a scar on his left eyebrow, which gives him a bad boy look.

’ Eva screamed in a high-pitched tone, and I stupidly recalled that he’s a jellyfish metahuman. “EVA!” I screamed. “Grab, Eva. Does anything know where he is?!” “Got him!” Skyr was quick to move. And since he was right beside me, I felt him stretch his arm out and grab something at the same time as I heard Eva screaming even more. ‘NATHALIA, YOUR MAN JUST GRABBED MY LITTLE MAN!’ Eva howled like he was in pain. Despite the situation, I could hear that Jack was dying from laughing.
