I blinked in surprise. "He said he has some things he wants to tell you face-to-face. Do you want to see him?" I thought about it for a long time. "Yes." … Inside the visitor's room, Patrick sat across from me in an orange prison jumpsuit with handcuffs around his wrists. He had lost a massive amount of weight. His eyes were deeply sunken, his cheekbones jutted out, and he looked like he had aged a decade. We sat in heavy silence for what felt like an eternity.

I found Patrick's tent and knocked on the metal frame by the door. "Enter!" I heard Patrick's commanding voice. The sound put a wide grin on my face. I still couldn't get used to this "Commander Kim" thing. I pushed through the tent door while nonchalantly clearing my throat, but gasped audibly as I saw Patrick wearing nothing but a pair of sweatpants. "Geez, Lilith! I'm sorry!" He panicked once he saw me and hurriedly reached for his tank top. "I thought it was Titus. He was supposed to bring me the report, and I didn't look at the time…" he explained feverishly.

home. Now that I had stayed quiet, she just scoffed, “Pathetic.” She turned away, laughing with Jason and Luna as if I didn’t exist. The table buzzed with warmth, with inside jokes, with a life I wasn’t part of. Then Luna, swinging her legs, tugged at Jason’s sleeve. “Uncle Jason, how did you and Mommy meet?” Her voice was sugar-sweet, eager for a love story—one I wasn’t in.

"Hey, Jason." My grip tightened on the script as I watched Princess Chloe, Henry's sister walked over to him, clinging to his arm possessively as though she owned him. Chloe wasn't just the alpha's daughter, but the leader of the figure skating team, and Jason's wannabe girlfriend. She parades herself in the academy as Jason's girlfriend, but not many people know that they are not in a relationship.

He said, “ Trust? I showed you the most hidden secret of mine. Whatever! Here, take it.” He put an earring on his hand that immediately melted like mercury. “ Now give me the money! Hurry!” Patrick Conal nodded and quickly withdrew the money. “ Here you go.” “ Thank you!” Patrick said, rushing to the Doc “ What's your name, boy?” “ Patrick! It's not a joke. Anyway!” “ What? Patrick! But what about your phone number? How will I contact you?” “ Don't worry! I will find you! Patrick-1” he waved his hand and left for the Doc.

I asked. He nodded again. "Perhaps my sister was wrong in calling you stupid." I shrugged. I didn't really care what any of them called me. They weren't important to my life so they could say whatever they wanted. Nothing they said would be worse than the memories I'd watch on replay in here. Which reminded me. "So, Patty there dissolved a Star Mistress that he raised from the dead. What's the deal with that?" All three gods stopped as if they were a show and someone had pushed pause. As one, they all turned to look at me.

He knew he had a night of cleanup ahead of him. Chuckling to myself, I walked over to Patrick and embraced him in a tight hug. “Bye, Patrick,” I muttered into his ear, feeling a surge of gratitude. “Thank you for today. You’re amazing,” I told him, reluctantly pulling away but keeping my arms around his neck. As he held me by my waist, smiling warmly, I looked up at him. He was perfect—handsome, considerate, and kind. Everything a girl could want in a guy. Yet, why couldn’t we just fall in love with each other? Why did I have to complicate things with feelings for Atlas, the forbidden fruit? Patrick smiled back at me. “No worries, I’m always here for you,” he replied, glancing over my should

They're concerned with what the future holds for the both of them as relatives. Everything seemed blank. Patrick felt there was more to meeting his parents than just words. Many things need to be put in order before there can be a full acceptance. He needs time. He wants to be alone. He never envisaged it, that one day, he would wake up and find himself as Richard's son. And this woman Luna, he knows next to nothing about him, yet she claimed to give him life. “I can't think straight now, Ms Luna. Give me time to absorb all you've said” Patrick requested. He needs time, he cannot absorb yet, his brain has not processed the reality that is before him.

Joanne was the only one who did not bat an eye at Patrick, which frustrated him a lot! This was a trample on his ego! "Patrick, it's cold outside. Shall we wait at the lounge?" asked Patrick's personal assistant. Patrick waved his hand. "Get me a chair and put it under that tree." "What? But why? That place is for all the B-list actors. Plus, the lounge is heated…" The assistant was surprised. "I was once a B-list actor as well. So why can't I sit there?" said Patrick coldly. His assistant did not dare to argue further and went to pull a chair and put it under the tree as ordered.

Feeling like Moses crossing the Red Sea, Patrick went through the middle of the army of rogues until he met the man he was looking for. “This war is meaningless,” Patrick said. “I want only one thing. Give me that bastard and we will end this now.” Pete said , while Jim just looked at him. The truth is that he didn’t agree with this, but he is his beta and he needs to submit to his brother. “We both already know that this will never happen” and Patrick points to his neck, to his mark. “She is my Luna Queen. You will not touch her!” “But I will!” Pete said. “Because of her all my family is dead! I will kill her!” and laughing like a madman he just says the most srupid thing he could say under
