Miro spotted the West Hollywood dog park and headed that way. “Don’t you dare!” Darghelm called from behind. Feeling mischievous, Miro ignored the command. When she dropped her pitch, the dogs might hear some of her call, and they’d go bananas. Wanting to be heard by creatures other than Darghelm, she stopped and watched the domesticated animals play. The human-animal bond reminded Miro of her favorite creatures. She loved octopuses and dolphins. She always had seahorses in her accommodations. Bonding with other species was a satisfying experience.
