It says that you don't know if you are telling the truth or bragging. But it's right and I can't argue with that. But the only thing I can't accept is because those words came from this man. He sounded so egotistical. A big walking ego to be exact. "Yeah right," I promised, but what I want to say is your face! You are so arrogant! But I might just die if I say that. He was still holding the sword, he might lose control because of his anger and his neck would be cut. Oh no, so I'll just shut up.

She went on to say. Am sorry but l didn't find it necessary to brag about it. It's money my darling. Tomorrow you have it the next you don't. That's what my parents used to tell me as l grew up.Always keep a low profile it may help you in one way or the other. I said but then l realized that l have spoken something l shouldn't have.Her face sunk with hurt. I regretted it. She used to be a proud person and couldn't tolerate any one coming in her way because money was everything for her.

I hissed silently as I shooked my head. "I tell you, not all people are the same. You can't tell which is which, so let's lessen your arrogance, shall we?" both have their tongue, sharpened. I wonder what will happen with these two. They both can't lower their pride and can't humble themselves as they should be, as a fighter. Geez! I was about to say something when Sin, took the latter. "Stop the nonsense," I thought she was going to add something to that but she continued to be silent as she is. I smirked as I stood up straight.

Brock boasted, lifting his head high with arrogance. Eugene smirked to himself. No matter how Brock tried, he was never Skybreaker. Never the real deal. The real Skybreaker carried pride, yes, but it was the effortless pride of someone who stood above others without needing to sneer. Brock, however, exuded arrogance and disrespect for everyone, making every action rude and insolent. A fraud could mimic the face, but never capture the soul. “Save those words after you actually beat me," Eugene said icily.

This was not the first time Anna had done this. Out of every ten posts she made, three mentioned me directly, and the remaining seven were visible only to me. In the past, I would always be easily provoked by these petty tactics. I argued with Benedict. I caused scenes. Every time, he dismissed it lightly and told me, “She's just a friend with benefits. You’re my wife. Don’t be so petty about it.” Benedict was certain that I loved him and would never leave him, so he hurt me without restraint.

He whispered, his lips barely touching my earlobe. "Okay, I trust you..." I said nervously, unable to tame the wild monster in me... "Thank you...so how is your day going...???" "Whenever I bumped into your big brother, my day always becomes a nightmare..." "Don't let him ruin your day... My brother can be a bit skeptical and tough sometimes but he is also the most fragile soul I have ever met... He has just been through a lot lately..." I can't believe he used those adjectives to qualify Jordan's arrogance and stupidity... Well, he"s his brother therefore he knew him better...

I growl at him holding the rail. “I don’t see it that way, let him help, he could share his…” “I don’t need help, he is not going to help but lash out at me,” I said with gritted teeth. “Pride is the downfall of Everyman,” “Don’t preach about humility when you have no single one in your system, you are a demon and all demons have pride.” He rolled his eyes at my outbursts. “I might have one but I will not…” the heavy footsteps of Jamie, made his words stop and I looked up to him.

He smiled out those cute dimples again, I pushed him farther from me “Step back you're too close,” “I understand that I'm so handsome and I'm making you blush, that's my secret magic” He bragged brushing his hair with his hand, I shook my head tiredly, why is he so funny, even if you want to get angry with him you can't help it but be smilez with him you can't be upset, “Stop bragging, have you checked yourself in the mirror?” “Trust me sweetie, I'm crazily handsome, you can't even deny that”

“Hummmm… I mean, if that’s what it takes. I have lots of sass left.” “You want me to dominate you? Make you obey?” She pulled back long enough to give me one warning look. I waggled my eyebrows at her and she snorted again. “You’re such a goof.” “A very handsome one, though, right? A strapping Alpha. Powerful.” “Modest, too.” “That’s another thing you humans do—all this pretending when you aren’t attractive, or strong. All this false modesty. It’s not arrogant to know your strengths. It’s arrogant to make yourself better than someone else for having something God gave you.”

She frowned, "What's that supposed to mean? Have you been fooling us all these while?" I scoffed, "Do you even know your son prefers telling his grandparents things than you? You don't like me because I am low?" She scratched her head, "I mean... that's not–" "I guess you don't know who I really am. I may be a single mother but that doesn't make me low. Besides, I own this hospital. I'm not as poor as you think." Bragging means nothing and won't get us anywhere. However, I had to do it to stop her wrong impression of me. What am I even saying?
