She made an effort to engage me in conversation, but my attention kept shifting between my phone and the captivating view outside the window. The words rush out of my mouth. “Oh, no, don’t do that,” She says to me firmly when we break the hug. “Don’t guilt trip yourself. You were going through the very pits of hell, I have nothing against you,” Her words cause me to literally cry. Tears of happiness. “I love you,” I say to her as I pull her in for another hug, and she chuckles. “I love you too, Linda,” She replies as she hugs me back. “Now let’s get inside, you have so much to tell me,” She wiggles her eyebrows when we break the hug, and I laugh.

I joked, a playful smirk playing on my lips. She chuckled softly. "I love you," she whispered. "I love you, too."

“Why me? You can have anyone you want. Why waste your time with a...” “Because you treat me like a regular guy,” he told her. This time, when he leaned in to stroke her cheek, she didn’t pull away. “Because you make me smile. Because you light up when you find a perfect quote for the situation, and I love to see that. Because you’re smart and funny and down-to-earth, and that’s a rare combination in a pretty woman. Because you thought I was worth loving , and you still took your top off to swim naked with me.”
