Chapter one Leaving the pack I was born and raised in the Moon Haven pack, best way to describe where it’s at, is near Logan Utah, it is a big pack and yet, not the biggest. We have over eight hundred wolves and are the fourth largest in the United States. We have seen other packs get attacked by rogues, as well as our own, but we are a warrior pack, and they do not ever make it across our borders. We have extraordinarily strong warriors, we have over four hundred and are all very well trained.

Hunter chose not to enter, making sure not to lose anything important locked away in his own mind. The memories he held—fragile as they were—needed to stay intact until this nightmare was over.
