“Let’s go now, please. I have an early morning class.” Hunter’s sharp eyes softened just a little as he nodded. He led the way out of the house, and I followed in silence. Hunter’s car was parked at the entrance—a sleek, obsidian-black Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Its polished surface gleamed under the morning light like a mirror, and the custom chrome detailing caught every eye. The interior was just as extravagant—soft black leather seats, gold accents, and a subtle, clean scent of leather and cedarwood. It was more a statement of power than just a car.

The massive armored vehicle gleamed beneath the morning sunlight like a beast built for war. Its heavy reinforced structure, bulletproof exterior, and intimidating presence made it look less like a family car and more like something meant for a battlefield. Adrian opened the back door calmly. “Anything to keep my family safe,” he muttered. Evelyn stared at the vehicle in disbelief. “This is a Range Rover Sentinel.” “That thing looks like a tank.” “It’s the safest option I could think of,” Adrian replied calmly. “No matter the attack, you’ll all be safe inside this.”

I sighed and continue the song. Think of me Wait for m- The song was cut off abruptly by the sound of a motorcycle roaring outside, I glanced outside to see a person was parking his motorcycle outside and with a loud roar the engine died down and the person unmounted it. The motorcycle was white, with black front glass, the rider was wearing a black long coat that looks like he should be wearing a fancy limousine instead. He pulls off his helmet and pulls it to his waist. My heart thumped. What a nice-looking stranger I thought. It will be nice if my love life could be as nice as that.

Rough, scorching. "Get in, I'll give you a ride back." It was a modified Ford Raptor, its chassis ridiculously high, the whole vehicle a matte black, looking like an armored beast straight off a battlefield. The engine roared as we sped down Route 66. The wind was strong, carrying red dust. Jasper steered with one hand, the other holding a half-smoked cigar, casually resting on the open window. "See that dry river valley over there?" He pointed with his cigar to the red rock walls outside the window.

“Yes. He’s technically got two minutes till he’s late.” The other warriors are growing antsy as well. We have two armed vehicles in case he wants to feel secure what with all the instability of their pack. Apparently his father, Beta Robert, is doing one hell of a job getting everything back to working order. I glance at my watch again, mentally counting down the seconds. We suddenly look up to see a black sedan coming down the road. I hear the parking brakes engage as a tall figure emerges from the back seat. “Mind if I hitch a ride? We’re having to be selective with armored cars at the moment.” Hunter smirks.

"Yes I do." "Good," he said. His hand reached for my tie. I wondered what on earth he was straightening out there. "Don't mess this up." I swallowed. "You have my word." Father nodded and stepped aside. Alessandro was by my side in an instant. "We will take our leave now," he said. "Yes, take care," my father said as we walked outside the chapel. A black limousine was waiting. The chauffeur hurried around to hold open the back door for both of us.

The drive to Ironhold was a silent, bone-rattling nightmare. Ashren pushed the heavy armored rover to its absolute limits. The massive treads tore through the deep tundra snow, spitting ice and frozen mud into the dark. I sat in the passenger seat. I checked the edge of my broadsword for the fifth time. Jinx was in the gunner seat behind us. She was loading armor-piercing rounds into her rifle magazines. The metallic clack of the bullets sliding into place was the only sound over the roaring engine.
