I walked to the left side of the house and drink a glass of water. I stared blankly at Tim's door, hoping he's still awake. I finished drinking my water and went back to my room to take my jacket. I took a deep sigh as I slowly close the door preventing to create a noise. My knees suddenly felt weak, trouble breathing again, and I can feel it-death. This feeling is too abstruse. I can't understand a single thing of what's going on right now. This isn't a normal phase of my daily life. Like my body is lacking physical sensation-numb.

I started to panic until everything just stopped. I felt no pain, no sadness, no happiness. I felt nothing, not even thoughts passing through my mind. I stayed like this for a while, and it was okay until I felt something in my chest. The pain and panic were back. Then I felt another pain, this time on the side of my neck. Then, everything came rushing at me with full force. My heart felt like it was going to explode. I couldn’t tell what was going on. For a moment, everything hurt, then everything felt great. Maybe this is what happens when someone dies. They feel everything and then nothing. I accepted that fate until I heard someone calling my name.

"Come home, sweetheart. I'll make your favorite lemonade fried chicken." In my previous life, my grandmother, who'd spent her days quietly in the countryside, somehow found out my death. She mourned for a long time, fell ill, and her health never recovered. She passed away not long after. As soon as I got off the bus, she hurried over and took the luggage from my hands. "Come on," she said cheerfully. "Let's go home. The lemonade fried chicken is ready." The small house wasn't much to look at, but it held every piece of my childhood.

After I died in that world, Mavis sold off all her assets in a desperate attempt to bring me back to life. In the end, she was left with nothing. Even after losing everything, she failed to wake me. Because of my departure, everything I had given her was stripped away. Mavis soon got into another car accident. But this time, there was no one to shield her. She could only endure the agony of ruptured organs on her own.

"Sam... you must never know what that sentence said." I stood there frozen, unable to understand what kind of terrible power those final words held. Why was everyone reacting so strangely? Grandpa had seen the message and immediately killed himself. Just then, Dad, who I had not realized was awake, slowly sat up on the bed and stared at us.

Yolanda’s body finally crumpled to the ground, lifeless and devoid of vitality. Her death came swiftly, so fast that she barely had time to utter a final cry. The air was thick with a profound silence, as if even the wind had come to a standstill. Everyone fell into a heavy silence, gazing at her lifeless form, as though reflecting on the chaos and suffering she had wrought. Her death marked the end of a chapter, a grim resolution to the torment she had caused.

Once again, I’m left with emptiness. My mind spirals, thinking of all the possibilities, the “what ifs”, and trying to figure out what just happened. I’m numb; it feels like nothing exists anymore. If this is death, it is a horrible place to be … a black void with nothing by me and my hazy, uncertain thoughts. I miss them … Zander, my family, my friends. The idea of never seeing them again scares me.

I can’t feel my body anymore—whether I’m in pain or not. To confirm whether I was dead or not, I slowly opened my eyes. I was shocked of what had greeted me—it was a complete nothingness. I quickly crawled around and it felt like I was suspended on the air. I am not in the burning hospital building anymore. The place where I am now is covered with endless darkness. Is it black out here or what? I can’t see any light. And the whole area is so peaceful, too.

I opened my eyes fully and looked down at the sweet child peeking sleepily up at me. "You hurted my daddy," Miguel mumbled in confusion. My heart dropped and I shook my head. I wasn't completely responsible for their deaths. I mean their father died in the stupid Iraq war and their blonde haired mother hung herself after getting the news. I dealt with death but not the way the individual died, that was solely on those fate bitches. "This is bullshit, let's go, don't ever forget about me little man, we will meet again in the future, this I swear," I growled. I moved him off me, patting his head sweetly and hurried past Maria cursing me while holding a cross up at me.

Just as I was sobbing uncontrollably, those magical little texts appeared again. [Oh, it's really heartbreaking to see.
