I have powers: atmokinesis; which is that ability to psychically generate and manipulate atmospheric and weather-related phenomena, and one of the four elements of the earth; fire. The first time my powers made themselves known was when a few of the pack kids beat me. I was so angry I didn't even notice that the once sunny day became gloomy and I vaguely heard thunder from afar. I didn't even feel my eyes glow as I was busy glaring daggers at their backs while they walked away. I imagined in my head that they were hit by lightning and then BAM! That's exactly what happened! Lightning came crashing down, striking the four of them right on their heads.

 ~AUTHOR'S POV~

Not completely but the tempo has been cut down. Did my power finally work? Unable to hide my smile, I try once again and tap into my mind. It’s tiny but another spasm of white mist comes out, engulfing the guard underneath my palm. “It’s like he has an imaginary anesthesia. How come he’s so quiet now?” The nurse remarks with fascination while I keep my ability a secret. Finally, my power has come to hand. “I’ll get more supplies from my office.” I hear Henrick saying before he walks out of the medic room.

The Beta tilts his head to the side, examining me a little closer. “Uhhh… that’s hard to explain and I don’t think anyone will believe it.” He smirks. “Give it a go, youd be surprised what we might believe.” Taking a deep breath, I raise my eyebrows and give my best ‘when you don’t you can’t say I didn’t warn you’ look. That or I look like I might be constipated. “I… uhhh… felt a surge of power.” His eyebrow twitches up. “A surge of power?”

She smiled warmly, but with experimental portions, so perhaps Riffen could also see the children's play in her eyes. - Doris, don't think that I don't know this children's game of yours. Doris is still proud and upturned, how is she? What can Riffen do here? - What can he do? Riffen was triggered as soon as he heard it, and he immediately turned into a hunting tiger. Doris had one of her legs rapidly removed in such a manner, and Riffen used his power to pull her close to him and lock her in place. Even Doris's reflection in the mirror is capable of all of this.

He nodded, encouraging me to continue, his expression unwavering. "I... I have a power," I confessed, my voice trembling slightly. "I can... I can control people's minds, but only for a short time. Make them stop moving, freeze them in place. But I don’t truly know the full extent of my powers just yet." Abhay's brows furrowed in surprise, his gaze flickering with understanding. "How... How long have you had this ability?" he asked softly, his voice filled with genuine curiosity.

Shocked by the unexpected attack, she then heard Jayson's voice filled with frustration and anger. "Can you stop fu*king making me feel so pathetic, Hattiea? I am here to fu*king talk!"

I dress in silence, eyes fixed on the small red light blinking from the corner camera. Is she watching me through that thing? The sick witch. Or worse—was my “progress,” as she liked to call it, being recorded and sent to Gratia? I clench my fists, fighting the urge to rip the damn device off the wall and smash it. But I stop myself. My only ticket out of here, is my continuous act of powerlessness. I need to keep acting like her little dumb doll. I pressed the help button, and a doctor quickly arrived. "Doctor, why is my superpower gone?" My tone was harsh due to the shock. The doctor hesitated for a moment before saying, "Because you were frozen for too long, your power has vanished." "What the heck are you talking about? How can power just disappear?!" I shouted angrily. Janice appeared at the door. She quickly apologized to the doctor and sent him away. "How can my power disappear?" I repeatedly tried to summon my power, but nothing appeared on my fingertips.
