Kira's POV "Let's run away," I said Immediately, my voice trembling but resolute. Jamison froze, his eyes wide with disbelief. “W–what? What did you just say?” he stammered. “I said let’s run away, Jamison,” I repeated, this time firmer, more certain. I reached for his hands, hoping he would see how desperate I was, how we really needed to do this but surprisingsly he stepped back away from me, shaking his head negatively.

The sound of his breathing was loud enough to be heard from meters away, no matter how hard he tried to run, the other sound of wolves howling and strong paws stomping against the ground in marching rhythm was ever so close.

I stared at the phone with lifeless eyes. “Hmm? Why aren’t you saying anything?” My throat worked as I forced out each word. “You don’t need to buy anything. My father is dead. He can’t eat anymore.”

Some were trying to free themselves but it seemed beyond of possibility because of the grasp. I feel shivery. I wanna run… far away. Oh God! Please. My within is screaming I was just here to spend time with my family but during our juncture, I didn't remember breaking bad and my family... We… we had a… flight this evening. Did they leave me here? No, they can’t. They must be worried about me, I didn't want them to think that I ran away because I didn’t wanna go back. I didn’t want to, but this was not what I wanted either.

I wanted to escape from it but it was clear I can't escape from it. The moment my body reacted, I realized I wasn’t just standing there anymore—I was running. Running away from Sebastian. Running away from being captured. Running toward my freedom to start a new life. My instincts were screaming at me to flee, to vanish into the darkness where I will never be seen again, but I knew better. Running wasn’t an option anymore for me. If I turned my back, I could see that Sebastian would drag me into the abyss I had fought so desperately to escape from.

Chapter 113 Caelia I wasn’t sure if running away was a good idea or the perfect solution to the situation we had found ourselves in, but I just wanted to leave. I wanted to escape from all of this—away from Mom, from everyone. The only person I wanted to be with was Aric, and since no one would allow us to be together, we had to leave. It was the best choice; there was no other way. “Let’s run away,” I said again. “We can’t stay here. And I dreamed of the night when all of this trouble started. “You are a mistake.” The words ran in repeat over and over in my head as I ran away from the house. I shifted before my feet even hit the ground. As I ran, I felt frantic, like I had to get away as quickly as possible. Ivy kept trying to get me to slow down so we could think, but I could not stop.

The rubbing of my nose still didn't stop the feeling and I had to move to rubbing my eyes making them all red. How would it feel to run away? From the claws of the world, from the world itself, from the people in it. Who did I offend for all this to happen to me? Who cursed my life to be this way? Nothing ever goes as planned. I turned around to jog in the rain then it turned into a full blown sprint. I was running away from everything, everyone. Maybe if I'm fast enough, I'll go back into the past again and rectify all my mistakes. This time, I'll make sure to avoid all men in general. I'll run fast enough so as not to be seen by the world.
