I Know What You Did Last Summer Novels & Stories

"Hey, want me to be your teacher instead? I’m way smarter than Summer. I graduated college with a degree in 43-degree Celsius—super high temperature! I was a consistent honor student: Best in English, Best in Math, Best in Science, Best in Sportswear, Best in National Costume, Best in Talent, and Best in Q&A. I also believe in the saying: ‘IF I’M NOT FOR HER… THEN TOO BAD FOR HER.’ So, what do you think, Sugarpops? Want me to be your teacher?” Poppy gave him a shy smile, “I think I’ll stick with Summer. I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

The city outside was glowing in gentle golds and blues, lights flickering like fireflies. “Do you always know what to get people?” Darius asked as he sipped his wine. “I try,” I said with a shrug. “It’s part instinct, part empathy.” He nodded. “You’re thoughtful. It shows in everything you do.” I smiled faintly and tucked my hair behind my ear. “I met with Summer today.” “Summer?” he asked, eyebrows raised. “My best friend. I told you about her, right?” He thought for a moment, then nodded. “Ah, yes. The one who you stayed in contact with during your... break.”

But trust me, I was still curious about what she was going to do. *******Next morning. I was still enjoying my sleep when, just then, my mom's voice pierced through the silence that had engulfed the room. "Ava, wake up; it is done!" My eyes swiftly opened to look at her. "What is done, Mother?" I inquired, rubbing my eyes like a kid. "Summer is dead... It's been confirmed!!" She announced, and at that moment, I didn't hesitate to let out a smile. "What? Is this true, mother?" I tried cross checking her information, and instantly, she nodded her head.

Wine is more delicious when cold. “I don’t really keep in touch with them anymore.” “I did not know that,” Klyde whispered. “A lot of people don’t. I’ve always been private about personal stuffs.” A small part of Klyde basked at the information, and he’s honestly so confused. Does it mean he’s not other people to Wade? His brows furrowed at his own thought. Why does he care about that? He must be going out of his mind. It’s too cold in here. Probably that.

"Come on Emily, you've got nothing to worry about." I nodded my head, but I was still not convinced. However, I decided to let it go. I focus my attention to the song that was now playing on the radio. It was "I Know What You Did Last Summer" by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. It was one of my favourite songs and I started to move my lips to the words. Next thing I knew, I was singing aloud to the song. I looked over at Tyler in surprise when he joined me when Shawn Mendes started to sing. I was surprised that he was into these songs because all I've ever heard him listen to was hard rap or heavy instrumental music.

I lay there and whisper "I'm sorry Ike. Don't know what's been happening with me? I feel strange. As if someone has been controlling my actions and decisions. I know I've messed up but I can't change it now. Please don't desert me. Let's stick together and heal together. From a distance, let's protect Summer with all we have."

She quickly pushed me away softly and asked with teary eyes, "How do you know that?" "I just know. From the way, he eyes you... it's just obvious." "Earlier this evening during the party after we met the squad, I told you that I'll be right back and went off for a pretty long time for which you scolded me pretty bad. Remember Summer?" "Yes, what about it?"

I asked "Good" "Woo" "Aaaa" "Let's play Cool For The Summer!" I said and the band started to play the song.. "Tell me what you want. What you like. It's okay. I'm a little curious too. Tell me if it's wrong. If it's right. I don't care. I can keep a secret, can you?" I started singing "Got my mind on your body. And your body on my mind. Got a taste for the cherry. I just need to take a bite. Don't tell your mother. Kiss one another. Die for each other. We're cool for the summer"

“You… You’re not Summer? Who are you?” “Don’t you know? Summer has dissociative identity disorder.” Summer’s smile widened. She wiped the hand she used to grab Victoria’s chin and slowly stood up. “I don’t know who will have the last laugh, but we also don’t know who has become the prey,” she said in a profound manner.
