I Level Up Alone

My life was about to be complicated. Meeting a stupidly hot guy after a missed flight, and a kiss that left me dizzy. We agreed: no names, no numbers. Just a hot make out session and goodbye.  She glares at me with her mesmerizing eyes. Her lips are contorted in disgust. She glares at me. I hold back my smile, " Excuse me." She says to the passing air hostess, averting her eyes from me. she fully ignores me.        "How can I help you, ma'am? " She asks her.        "Can you please take this dumbass out of my eyes? I don't want this shit around me. " She says with a taste of anger.        My eyes widen. I thank the sunglasses.        ' She is damn rude, man! But I love it. '      "Woh girl! Mind your language. I respect girls. " I couldn't take away the shock from my voice.       She slightly draws her face at my side, "It was decent, you big oaf! Don't compel me to be worse." She coldly glares at me as she'd kill me with her eyes.  Suhana is a beautiful, charming and intelligent girl. She falls in love with a merchant Navy boy. When she asked him, will he marry her? Undoubtedly, gleefully he said yes. He made all the promises to her and showed her dreams of a happy married life. After completing her study, they planned to get married. "I have never done this," I muttered, hypnotized by his eyes. "Nobody knows everything." He answered and gave me his hand. "You are so... so... So... beautiful." He was whispering his secret and I had his chiselled jaw wrapped in a small stubble beard in my hands. "You don't have to know anything. Follow me." He pulled me into his arms, he mumbled, I leaned over and kissed him. I cupped his cheeks and pulled him to kiss my lips. I want to savour those lips. He obeyed. He stormed into my life on a rainy day, one day just to shelter me. He was always uninvited into my life but once I tasted him, I realised I am more than I can be. He became My Taste I Like until I learnt his truth.

I failed my university's mandatory physical education class, but I didn't want to go for the training. Uncle Grant came and helped me, but I only did a few squats, and I could already feel my chest hurting so much. I fell right into Uncle Grant's arms, and I said, "No, I can't do this, Uncle Grant… Do you have any sports bras…?" My uncle's breathing became rapid, and he said, "Let me help you, Carmen." I didn't expect that the way he helped me was to use his hands to correct my posture from the front. As he squatted alongside me, it was only getting faster…

My fate was sealed the moment I stepped inside that school. A simple sentence, seven measly words that put a target on my back, was all it took to turn three years of my life into a nightmare. After failing the mission, the System gave me one final chance, and to succeed, I had to give birth to a child. The System promised that if the baby were born safely, it would reveal the truth to my target and give me one last glimmer of hope. However, six months into my pregnancy, just when things seemed stable, I was dragged onto an operating table in the middle of the night by my husband and family. My husband stopped the anesthesiologist from giving me any pain relief. “Let her feel the pain,” he said coldly. “We need to keep the kidneys as fresh as possible.” My parents instructed the doctor to draw my blood. “She’s the same blood type as our precious girl. Let’s take some for backup.” Even my childhood friend, the boy who had always been by my side, was the one to slice open my abdomen.  They wanted my kidneys to save my sister, who was dying from kidney failure. No one believed I was pregnant. No matter how much I begged, they went ahead with the operation, tearing me open. The baby couldn’t survive, and I died on that operating table. However, as my soul began to fade away, something strange happened. Those who had murdered me—my husband, my parents, my so-called friend—they all lost their minds.

"Why are you apologizing?" "..." He didn't push me further when I didn't answer him. Instead, he suddenly leaned in closer to my ear and sniffed. I saw his throat swallow a little, and my heart skipped a beat along with him. "You..." His voice was low and husky, like music to my ears. "You smell wonderful," Enzo said.

It was our seventh year of marriage when my husband, Joseph Lowe, brought my best friend, Teresa Shaw, to my ward. And they were the picture of a perfect couple. I gave them my most genuine blessing. "You two make the perfect match." Joseph tossed an agreement in my face. An asset transfer. He demanded that I give Teresa everything I had. I took the papers and signed my name without wasting a moment to think. Teresa laughed happily, pleased with my obedience. She then hugged Joseph and said, "Thanks for taking care of Joseph for me, Selina. Oh, there's the divorce papers, too. How about…" I noticed the look of impatience in Joseph's eyes, so I snatched the papers from Teresa's hand. "Yeah, I'll sign them all."

“I Do” hearing those two words coming from him breaks my heart into million pieces again. I lost him forever. Everything is happening infront of me. I closed my eyes and started thinking about our memories and trying to forget them forever. Then we heard “No!” shocking each and one of us. But who cares, He said “I Do”…

21+ 18+ This wasn't right, this experimental relationship probably wouldn't work. An attempted relationship was scary enough, let alone an attempted marriage, it was even scarier. Vanilla did not want to experience domestic failure, she wanted to be like her mother who got married only once in her life.
