I reached for it and flipped it open. It contained a series of explosives. My eyes instantly went to the grenade at the bottom of the box. "Don't do it, Kai," a voice said in my head. Regardless, I reached out for the grenade. My fingers were shaky, but I didn't drop the weapon. I have to know what's inside that safe. What I have been searching for might be in there.
