the last thing I'm gon' do is to kill myself. My legs continuously hitting the ground and the sound of my tears echoing along with the thunder makes the night even more scary. My leg hits a stone and I fall face down on the ground, i lay there crying, i couldn't move. My feets are sore and if i move a step again then I'm going to fall down for the second time tonight on the street. "Why are you crying? why are you out here in the dark, on the ground while the rain is this heavy?" A voice asked, I turned my neck around to know whom it is but I couldn't move my neck.

"As a Bomb" "A bomb is not safe until it has exploded". I take one more step and the foot remains standing a bit higher up in the air. It feels like I am standing on a bed. My foot is planted firmly, but what I am standing on is still elastic. "Like that, one more step, then you're there”. He whispers behind me. I take a step and feel the same cool stream of air that I had previously felt flowing from my hands, hissing through me and out under my feet. It is unbelievable, but I am actually standing free in the air half a meter above the earth !

It was something I realized when I was a small distance into the walk, far, far away from the ground. “Oh god,” I muttered to myself, my hands on the thick ropes swaying beside me and my eyes on the ground that was a considerable distance away from me. The ropes underneath me swayed with the wind and my arms on the thick ropes became clammy with sweat. My legs were quivering like leaves with my body firmly planted to the ground, unmoving. Those beneath me were shouting things at me but I could not hear them. I heard nothing aside from the roaring of the wind in my ear and the pounding of my heart.

“Stand up, then.” How would I stand? My hands were cuffed behind me and I was on my stomach on the filth ground and my tired body could barely move. “It’s going to be quite difficult,” he snickered. “But you can manage it, can’t you?” Laughter tinged his words and I nodded.

I scream in the silent room. I see everything around me move slowly. I stay stagnant, not blinking as I stand still. First, my beautiful returns to me, with her smile illuminating everything and I have a great hope that this moment will pass. From a second of fraternity, it's gone into a world without a ground, where the place I walk today is the only thing I still feel grounded on.

The earth group stood on a dusty, gravelly practice field. With a single hand gesture, George lifted a boulder from the ground. "You cannot force the earth," he rumbled, placing his hand firmly on the ground. "You must be as solid as it is. Stand steady-and feel its pulse." Sky knelt, placing her hands on the ground. A vibration ran beneath her palms-not frightening, but more like an ancient, deep breath. She focused, and lifted a smaller boulder. It was heavy; sweat beaded on her forehead-but she managed it.

My stomach drops. “Ah—” I catch a crack in the stone and cling to it before I can fall. My knee grinds against the surface and the earlier scrape tears open again. “Shit, shit!” I hiss under my breath but I refuse to look down. I lower myself inch by inch until my arms can no longer stretch and then I let go. I land on the grass with a dull thud. The impact sends a jolt through my legs and the sound carries farther than I expect. A few meters away a patrolling guard stops mid step.

I hadn't been here before. Standing on my toes, I shoot my head out of the outlet. Craning my neck downwards, I gasped. I was at the fourth floor. I was at the fourth floor. Stephanie’s POV: The ground beneath me was cold, but not unbearable. It pressed through the thin fabric of my leggings as I sat cross-legged, spine straight, hands resting loosely on my knees. I focused on that feeling at first, the steady, grounding chill of the earth, trying to anchor myself to something real, something still.

August's POV We were welcomed with a high salute from the guards. Until now I still can't move on with this place. It just feels too unreal. But no matter how many times I say no way in my mind, this place freaking exists and I am even standing on it right now. We are no longer in the cloud part but we are on the ground. My life is no longer in danger.
