Neith. "That's what I'll be known as from now on." Neith muttered while looking up at the majestic building masquerading as a place of worship. Resentment could be seen from her eyes as she was staring at the huge wooden door separating her from the whole other world behind them. 'This whole place and the person on top of it is the reason he's missing.' They would have to drag her cold corpse if they wanter her to ever step foot in this place if they didn't have what she needs.

Alex stared at her phone in disbelief. How the hell did he figure out her username? She never used her full name on her socials. She opened the text and sent him her phone number. Alex preferred phone calls over texts because she never responded to people. Less than a minute later her phone rang. "How did you find me?" Alex giggled. "I found the guy your friend was making out with, he gave me her username so I went onto her account and found you. I really missed you and wanted to hear your voice again"

Jason said with a heavy look of sadness. “I don’t mind,” I said, shaking my head and standing up. “I've been waiting for your method all this time, and it's not working. I'm not going to sit here one more day idly doing nothing while I watch Annie get further and further away from us.” It was too exhausting to have to wait for a response that never came. I was tired of waiting; I just wanted to have a chance to talk to her before everything got worse. “So what do you intend to do?” Jason asked, looking at me.

(Author’s POV) Ruby remained trapped in darkness long after the mysterious man left the room. The warmth of his touch still lingered on her cold fingers. His voice echoed repeatedly inside her mind, ‘I’ve loved you for five years. I’ll wait’. Her heart still fluttered uncontrollably remembering the tenderness in his tone. Everything felt unreal. Just moments ago, she had awakened to the horrifying truth that she had been unconscious for two years. Before she could even process that shock, an unknown man had entered her darkness like warmth in winter and confessed feelings so deep they made her chest ache.

A faint smile broke through her tear-streaked face as she whispered through her sobs, "Thank you." After that, she looked up Cameron online, then spent the next two weeks waiting outside Cameron's residential area, only for him to never appear even once. That night, Bianca was dead set on waiting for Cameron. He was a no-show as dawn broke, though, so she despondently trudged down the street, the biting wind whipping at her face. She felt no pain, though, only the suffocating pressure in her chest, as if something inside her was collapsing.

After he kissed and caressed her, everything was like nothing. She fell asleep, feeling upset with Tyron, until she woke up. He didn't message her anymore, and it seemed he had forgotten her. She lost her appetite even when the food was delicious. It has been a week since Tyron was abroad, and she missed him so much. The call and message were not enough to alleviate the bereavement of her heart for the young man. She went to the company, lacking energy, and ignored everyone's gaze. They might be wondering because she was acting different.

I wait for damn five days until the limit of my patience breaks. I miss him.

I know you're different, and I love you just the way you are. I am sorry that you went through the trouble of changing your hair. You can change it back if it makes you happy or comfortable. Please do not walk away from me. I've been through so much pain before, and I can't go through it again. I won't be able to bear it. Just the thought of losing you is depressing. Please, Ivy, forgive me, for the sake of the love you feel for me in your heart. Give me another chance. Please don't kick me out of your life. I can't imagine my life without you."
