The words still sounded strange coming out of my mouth. Jenny grinned. “Well, now you have to think about it. Are you imagining something flowy and romantic, or sleek and sophisticated?” “Maybe something in between?” I said, imagining what a wedding to Ian might look like. “I want it to feel special, but not too over-the-top. Something simple but elegant.” Jenny nodded thoughtfully. “Yeah, that sounds like you. Something classy, maybe with a lace bodice or something. What about the color? Are you going for traditional white, or would you want to do something different?”

I didn't care about the ring, but the thought he put into it for me made me happier. It was a greenish, bluish stone that sparkled and changed colour all the time, and was cut in a cushion shape with smaller crystals encircled around it on the band, and on the inside were the initials IA & AC. And in our happy trance, we hired a wedding planner and began planning a simple beach wedding for only us and close friends and family. And talking about family, I don't think he was as close to his as I was to mine.

Isabella explained. “No doubt it will be a simple wedding,” Samantha pointed out roughly. She turned to glance at Liam, giving him a flirtatious smile. “Remember, I’m expecting a grand wedding with dozens of flowers and shiny, white satin.” *Knock. Knock. Knock.* The gentle knocking on the door had us all turning our heads to find that the wedding stylus team had arrived. Isabella graciously allowed them all in and the team began setting up each of their designated stations. Claire, the team leader, led me over to one of the chairs and placed a large ipad in front of me. The screen showed several gorgeous, one-of-a-kind wedding gowns. As I scrolled through, each one of them was more expensiv

He slipped the eternity wedding ring into my finger. I held his hand. “With this ring, I pledge to you, my love and my life.” I delightedly put the wedding band into his finger. “Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.” I looked at everyone, and they seemed happy and smiling when no one objected. But I couldn’t forever hold my peace because I had a secret I couldn’t carry anymore. “I-I—” I raised my hand. “I object.” Everyone gasped. I swallowed hard as I looked at our officiant. I just completely ruined my entire wedding.

I pinched it on the side and it ridiculously stopped me. "Hahaha. I love tickling you, maybe it would be better if you just kiss me." I turned my back on him and covered myself with a blanket. "I don't know about you!" I promise. The next day, it was really what everyone was waiting for. The fancy wedding. The police escorted me to the church. When arriving at the church, those who attended our wedding did not dance together. You thought it was a celebrity getting married because of the crowd. Especially when I started walking towards the altar where Joseph was standing there.

His brows furrowed slightly as a trace of unease flashed across his face. “Eve, you’re not angry?” I met his gaze calmly. “Didn’t you say she’s spoiled? That I should let her have her way?” Those were the exact words he had repeated to me countless times before. Lewis paused for a moment, then nodded in satisfaction. “That’s right. It’s good that you understand. After we’re married, you two should be able to get along.” He looked at me sincerely and continued, “I’ve had the wedding dress redesigned, and the ring will be custom-made again. I’ll give you the grandest wedding Napels has ever seen. Everyone will know that you are my only wife, Eve.”

He pulled her hands along and led her to the garage and what she saw made her take a few hasty steps backward. "Remember that time on our first date, you couldn't take your eyes off the car we saw at the driveway and you ranted about how you'd love to own one? well, let's just say this is a little wedding present" he flaunted the keys to a new Mercedes Benz GLE coupe full option. "David, I..." It was hers, she couldn't believe it. It was overwhelming, so overwhelming that she hadn't realized she was crying until her tears touched her dress.
