His lips were parted slightly, his breathing a little heavier. Curiosity got the better of me. I leaned forward just an inch to see what was so important that it made the Ice King look human. I froze. I knew that text. I knew that font. On the screen, white text on a black background, was a chapter from a book. My book.

I tried to throw it off, but some unseen force balanced it. “What is happening?” I shouted as a bright light shone from the pages of the book. Jada rushed towards me and hit the book off my hand. It fell on the table, and the first page opened. It wasn't blank like before. I could see the words written on it and it read: “Only to be read by the seer.” “I can see the writings.” I stuttered as I flipped through the pages. “I still see blank pages. You mean you can see the words?”

I hesitated for a while, what if I don’t meet what I was expecting? But then, on the second thoughts, seeing is believing so I opened the book and flip the pages through the past year and months earning. My heart sank, goosebumps of shock and petrification licked my skin, and I felt like I just arrived from hell. I’d flipped the book to this year’s earning and what I’m seeing right here, is dar from what I was expecting.. “This cannot be true right?” I asked myself aloud, and flipped the pages again, maybe what I was looking for was at the back page, but to my surprise, I saw nothing.

Once again, the divine beast clan ceases contact with the outside world to avoid the threats of the total extinction of the Four Divine Beast Clans. Such fate is cruel. "I guess... life sometimes is cruel," I murmured as I finished reading the book. I felt conflicted and emotional. I grabbed another book and found the title intriguing. "The Eye of the Truth," This is interesting. I began flipping the pages, and the more I read, the deeper my suspicion became. Doubts filled my mind, and something was off about the information written in this book. I suddenly felt dizzy and gripped the book hard. What happened?

For a minute I thought I saw something in his eyes but before I could decipher, it was gone. "Gabby..." His words held surprise in them. He wasn't expecting me. He looked nice, neatly shaved as usual. I stared at those same eyeballs that drove me insane, that made me loose my senses whenever I stare at them, not minding if he noticed what I was doing. "Are you going to talk or come inside?" He asked. I shake myself off those feelings and smiled. "Let's talk inside. I sat down on Liam's couch waiting for him. He returned a minute later with water and juice in his hands.
