I pulled Evbu, my love out. It's actually my best pacesetter novel. I flipped through the pages and sniffed it.

“Then… I found something shocking.” My hand shot forward before I even realized it, trembling slightly. Imani’s own hand shook as she placed the book carefully in my palms. My fingers closed around it, still unsteady, my mind racing. I glanced at her, then at Mila. Mila’s eyes met mine, and she bowed gently, giving me the go-ahead. Slowly… I opened the book. Page by page, I turned it with a reverence I had never given anything in my life. And then, in a single instant, something caught my attention and I saw it.
