I Was Sitting In The Corner Mga Nobela at Kwento

They all froze at the sight. Me—sitting against the corner of the room, knees drawn up to my chest. The remains of my bed—destroyed.

The room was simply decorated; it was defiantly not the room of a Mafia Leader. Suddenly, I felt the presence of someone and I turned my gaze. In a corner of the room, a tall young man was sitting on a couch with a mask on his face and a cigarette held in his hand. I hardly controlled my senses. I now began to dominate; I realized that this was Adam.

Of course on my first day I'd already messed up, already drawn attention to myself. I finally reached the Humanities building and practically ran inside, grateful for the relative quiet of the hallway. I found room 201 on the second floor and slipped inside, choosing a seat in the very back corner where I could see everyone but no one would notice me. The classroom slowly filled with students who all seemed to know each other already. They clustered in groups, talking and laughing, completely at ease. I sat alone in my corner, pulling out my notebook and pen, keeping my eyes down.

Just as we were about to enter, he grabbed me by my hand and I turned towards him with a confused look. "Stay close to me." He said and I nodded. We headed inside and other students from the school were already there. I looked around searching for a quiet place to sit. Not a fan of drinking and dancing like a maniac. Levi's words rang in my head again and breathed. I waddled through the crowd and went to sit at a corner. "Oh, see. Who's here?" I heard Hadley yell over the music. I shifted uncomfortably on the seat and looked around for Levi.

I sat with my back to the wall in the corner of the little twenty-four-hour café I'd found to kill time in for the night. I'd already cased the place inside and out, but it's going to be a long time before I ever feel comfortable out in the open like this, if ever. All around me, people were going about their regular lives.

“There you are. I thought you’d bailed.” “I wouldn’t bail,” I said quickly, tugging at the strap of my bag. My voice sounded off even to me but I pushed past him and grabbed my own tray. “The hallway was just choked up.” We found a table tucked toward the corner, away from the loudest groups. Usually I liked it this way because it gave us room to talk and to laugh quietly but today the corner felt like a spotlight. I could feel it, their heads turned in our direction, their mouths curving into half-smiles, and their whispers.

Dodging hyperactive children on a sugar rush. “I know... Same as always.” his voice follows me and then I lose him when I crush myself between two large women and manage to secure our little spot, nestled right against the window in the smallest corner ever. I sit down and use the time to take off my shoes and try to get rid of the water I collected on the run in here.

He had the week's attending gathered and was beginning to feel the section forming at the edge of his thinking, the inside view not yet drawn but present, the way the entry had presented itself at the edge of Ellie's inside-out sections. He was in the year-one classroom on Friday morning when he almost missed her. She was in the corner. Not the sunny bar — the sunny bar was on the other side of the room, the south wall. This was the north-east corner, the corner furthest from both windows, the corner where the light was least. She was five years old — the year-one children were five and six — and she was sitting on the floor with her back against the north wall and her knees drawn up and a b

I muttered to myself. I looked around and found a seat in a distant corner, deciding to sit there. I believe sitting in that corner would give me some spare time from the gazes, which were now bothering me extremely. But before I could take my steps towards that place, a lady came running towards me gave me a big smile, and said, "Miss Katherine, we have a place selected for you. Please, follow me." I followed that woman without saying anything. Since they had selected a seat for me, I did not need to hide myself by sitting in a distancing seat.

’ I pushed the door open and stepped inside. The room was cozy, with shelves lined with books and posters of famous authors on the walls. A few students were already seated, chatting amongst themselves. My eyes darted around, looking for an empty spot. I noticed a seat in the corner and quietly made my way there, hoping to remain unnoticed.
