ROSE I woke up the next morning with a killer headache and Carina laying at the foot of my bed. Idiot. As I looked at her weirdly positioned self, an evil idea made its way into my mind. So, I slowly crept out of bed, tiptoeing and allowing the wolf side of me to take over. I then went to the bathroom, filled my water jug with some water, snuck back into my room and dumped it all over Carina. She awoke with a loud scream while I just stood there, arms crossed and an evil smirk on my face.

I had never imagined Chad would be such a jerk. When Chad and his friend laughed at Annika, I was indignant. I rushed over to cover his mouth, not realizing how pale Annika looked. She fumbled, desperately wanting to run, and eventually tripped and fell into the swimming pool. Nathan saved her, and it became a classic tale of the prince saving the ordinary girl, just like in many romantic stories. People loved to read these kinds of stories. As the couple's story gained popularity on campus, it became evident that it needed a villain, a malicious character who would bully Cinderella and try to steal her prince away. I was perfect for that role.

After that I again slept peacefully, snuggling in his arms like a baby. I woke up alone in bed after a few hours. The room is dark, I'm searching for my peace, my Zain, but I widened my eyes in shock, seeing Vikas striding toward me, smiling evilly at me. "Zain," I screamed, again and again, shivering with fear. I'm trying to move, but I'm feeling like my legs have jammed. I'm utterly horrified.

The guy that I tossed to a car never stood up again. that day was the day I slew with my strength. It was of course... accidentally. "We should go contact the boss," he said. Then I knew... The next villain I should expect would be their superior...Lucifer. "I would never go back to dwell with him...no matter what!"

The villains use this tactic all the time. The number of people around me is minimal, the alley way is clear and darker, and the atmosphere is dreary. I cannot stay any longer here. I twist myself and run in the opposite direction before it's too late. Just when I did so, a pair of hands wrap around my face, with a saturated cloth covering my mouth and nose. Ah, lord. I just got myself into more trouble. I quickly lose my consciousness, dropping the sugar painting that embodied a sense of relief.

I was truly living the life of a side character, being treated that way by my own brothers. I picked up the pesticide bottle, twisted it open, and poured it straight into my mouth. "What are you doing?!" Charlie screamed in terror, his face turning deathly pale. Even the usually composed Lucas panicked at that moment. "Are you insane? Did you really drink it?" My consciousness grew increasingly hazy, and I thought, 'What's so insane about it?' The original character in that world, Maddison Sherman, was just a villainous side character doomed to die sooner or later anyway. I remembered that the original plot said that she was supposed to die there, but it was by suicide with a knife instead.

I shut the pair of glass doors behind me, hugging myself over my sweater. I lean against the railing, pressing the palms of my hands on the cold concrete as I stare out at the grounds. Tavin’s words echo in my mind, and slowly, their meaning begins to take shape. All of us have done bad things. Some have done worse things than others. But to someone, you’re the villain. In somebody’s story, there’s always a villain. And all villains have their own villain. The realization settles over me. I glance back through the glass doors, catching sight of Tavin standing guard.
