He wouldn't run from whatever he had growing in his heart. Days later, the rink area buzzed loudly with sounds of skates and sticks, coupled with endless chatter from students packed around it. Noa sat on the bench, with a towel hanging around his neck. He pretended to scroll through his phone. But his eyes kept drifting toward the entrance every few seconds.

She’d sit in that massive leather chair with him, and she’d drink her sweet coffee, and she’d watch the pink and violet dawn break over the mountains, witness the golden sun touch and warm the icy caps. She’d listen if he wanted to talk, or she’d hold his hand if he didn’t.
