Idris was crushing his ribs. In the next minutes, Idris and Brian disappeared into the arms of blizzard surrounding us and they were lost in wall of falling snow and mist. As l watched , l felt my body rushing through the air as if I was one with the wind. The two fighting forms came into sight once more and blood splattered across a fresh layer of snow.

He averted his gaze from Emily and closed his eyes. Stray, he commanded me with authority, "Let your wolf stay and defend you." He paused and cast a stern look toward Leia before continuing, "If something awful happens to you..." I'll torment her right up until the moment she takes her final breath. Drake went on to say. "Nothing terrible will happen to me, alpha," the speaker said. Emily argued her point with self-assurance. Before leaving their sight, Drake just retreated, heaved a sigh, and turned his back on them. Dillon shook his head and cast his gaze across the two people, who were now engaged in conversation.

"Chronological instability detected. Initiating localized quarantine protocol." The drone’s twin weapon pods swung downward, charging with a sickening blue glow that signaled a temporal displacement strike.
