Xx__xX Aiden's POV: I slowly picked up Layla and placed her at the bed besides me. She dozed off while I was hugging her and patting her back. My hands were still wrapped around her while I made her comfortable on the bed. She looked so peaceful while sleeping. I didn't wanted to wake her up because I knew she worked really hard last few days especially last night.

It mocks him. "Please lay down. Try to sleep, for me," I murmur. I get onto the bed and lay in my spot, praying that somehow he'll sense my presence and lay down too. When he sits, I bring my hands to his shoulders and pull him. He comes back, and through the eyes of someone truly there, it simply appears that the poor guy is finally giving in.

' I thought to myself as I laid there staring at the ceiling with my body stiff as a board. 'I really didn't think this through!' I thought to myself as I laid there with Michael. 'Do I say something? What Do I even say? Do I just lay here and try to go to sleep?' I wondered to myself as I laid there. But the next moment I realized, just having him laying here next to me, I feel so much better. I feel so much more calm and feel my body relax with him here next to me.

I laid on the ground in a fetal position, pushing my knees up to my chest and just lay there. Everything gets better when you just lay right?? A little bit of sleep..or maybe a lot of it would take all this hurt away. At least that’s what I think as I let my eyes battle for will and dominance with my brain. Tears still seep out of my closing eyelids every now and then reminding me that I can’t run away forever. Even if I decide to sleep till eternity..I’d still bear the brunt of the day's blows when my eyes finally awaken.

The only illumination comes from the streetlamp outside, casting long, skeletal shadows across the room. I collapse onto the bed, the mattress groaning under my weight. The impact sends a sharp jolt through my side, and I hiss through my teeth, curling around the pain. I lie there for a minute, staring at the ceiling, listening to the house settle. But I can’t lie to myself. My hand moves automatically to my pocket, pulling out the phone. The screen is still bright, the I*******m app open. The message sits there, waiting. Me: Who are you?

My heart was palpitating as different thoughts kept reeling in my head. "Hello?" I succumbed to say that. Still he didn't stop staring at me like that. He seemed over-lost in his thoughts. What were those thoughts? Oh God, I hated being clueless. I decided to brush it off my mind and walked away from him. I slipped out a wine dress and a pair of black slip-ons. I sank into the comfortability of its softness and it felt like something I could just dwell in for eternity.

Kiera It's dark, that's the first thing I notice as I open my eyes, It's dark and I'm lying on a bed, I try to move but groan as every nerve ending in my body flares in protest. How did I get here?, I manage to slowly get to a sitting position and I look around the dark room. It looks like I'm in a room in the Healer's Quarters?

"WAKE UP SUNNY....WAKE UP" "WAKE UP" "RIYA" I gasped out as I snapped my eyes open, my chest rising slowly as I inhaled a deep breath before drowning back into the same darkness I was trapped in before.

Turning back to the river feeling peaceful and sleepy shifting a little wanting to lay on the floor “What are you doing” Rolling my eyes “can't you see ,i wanna sleep obviously” He frowned “no don't sleep on the floor “ Glaring at him “i am feeling sleepy so where am i supposed to sleep and didn't i tell you to shut up” Taking off his suit leaving out only his white inner shirt, what's he doing,he lays it on the floor, signaling for to lay,oh I opened my mouth wanting to protest but ended laying anyway “thank you” He nods lifting my head and placing it on his laps
