Jane- Screw you. Hunter- Lol… let’s play a game. Hunter- Twenty questions. You in? Jane-Why do I hate this game already? Hunter- You’re hilarious. Hunter- I’ll start… Where’s the craziest place a guy has ever kissed you? Jane- Wow. It’s that kind of game we’re playing? Hunter- What kind of questions did you think I was going to ask you? Your favourite food? Or perhaps your favourite colour? Jane- I do not appreciate your sarcasm.

“No, you don’t.” I scowled. “Maybe I do.” “Maybe you don’t,” he shot back, still laughing. I rolled my eyes. “Shut up, it’s your turn again.” He hummed, like he was thinking. Then—“Why don’t you let people in?” The question caught me off guard. I blinked. My heart beat a little faster. I swallowed. “That’s not fair.” “It’s twenty questions,” he said. “Nothing’s fair.” I let out a slow breath.

“Just allowing momentary personality leaks.” “You say that like it’s a bad thing.” She didn’t respond. But her smile, small, real, fleeting, was all the reply he needed. Later that evening, they played a game Joy called “Quickfire Honesty.” The rules were simple: ten random questions, ten seconds to answer each. No overthinking. Just say the first thing that comes to mind. “Favorite meal?” she asked, glancing at her watch to count down. “Anything with noodles,” Juda replied without hesitation.

he said in a tone that made me laugh out loud. I couldn't help but find what you said funny and I also found them quite silly which was very contrary to his appearance because anyone who think that he was a serious-minded person and that he wasn't going to be that kind of person to have a good sense of humour but he was the complete opposite of how he looked and although he was pretty serious-minded, he also had the tendency of being funny at times. "So does this mean you are going to consider my feelings?" he asked suddenly and I mentally rolled my eyes at him. They all just had this ability to ruin the mood with their very unnecessary questions and it was honestly very frustrating.

I read through some and then I shook my head and dropped it as I got to my feet, placing my hands over my head. “This is ridiculous,” I said. He looked up. “What is ridiculous?” “These questions. One of them is asking whether I’ve had an abortion. What kind of stupid question is that?” “Like I said,” he reiterated, “these are possible questions… questions to get you off guard, to get you angry, mad, to make sure that you are put off your game.” “Well, I’m surely put off my game by these questions,” I said. “What do you want me to say in court when they ask me all these questions?”

"You think you're funny, Debbie? You think it's funny to come in here and disrupt everyone's study session?" Debbie's face transformed, her mask slipping to reveal her true emotions. "The only question that interests me is the first one," she sneered, her voice dripping with venom. She paused, feigning deep thought, tapping her chin. "Who do I think I am?"
