I know we are hearing something not many know, and I am so intrigued by her story, I almost forgot why she is here. “The Goddesses' children were immortals, living forever, only able to die if killed by special weapons, poison or each other.” She looks at Ivy, Isaiah and I. “The immortality is inherited by the children of a Goddess born.” She says with a raised eyebrow. I look at Selene. I would have been nice to hear this from her and not her sister. “Wait!” Ashless says with a hand raised. Emelda nods at her, and Ashlee swallows. “How can Isaiah and Ivy be mates if they are related through you and Selene?” She asks, and that is an excellent question to be honest.

Her voice was filled with shock. It was known that outside the Godly Region, there was a wider world of void. It was said that after the Pangu split the universe open, there were many powerful immortals who jumped out of the Godly Region and cultivated at places outside of the Nine Mainland. Therefore, they were called the Immortals. They were omnipotent and much stronger than the gods in the Godly Region. However, these immortals were indifferent to fame and fortune and focused on cultivation as they never participated in the matters of the Godly Region or humans.

I felt exasperated and hopeless. "It is quite a good move to cut it, Since males will swarm on you non-stop if they know that you are a female," Aja said while smiling at me kindly. "It is. Truthfully. By the way. We initially wanted to seek information about the Immortals. Specifically, the god named Sephtis and the twin goddesses named Ayla and Arie. Do you happen to know who they are?" Lowell asked politely while getting straight to the point.

“You’re immortal?” “No.” Darby raises her hand, covering her mouth while she yawns. “I beg your pardon. The Horned God, Arianrhod, the Mother Goddess—they aren’t immortal. They’re… eternally young. They can be killed. Or die from an injury. Just like you or me.” I’m still struggling to process that my mate is a demigoddess. Unable to help myself, I glance down the length of her youthful flawless body slowly. Holy shit! She’s kinda a schnack! She looks like a raw sausage somebody squeezed in the middle.

"Then because I am a reincarnation of a goddess... I'll also..." "No. You do not need anyone's belief to maintain your existence. But even without that... you are somewhat immortal, Nefferca..." Neffie gasped in astonishment as she heard the goddess's quick answer. "Lycans and werewolves are not immortal... So... how could I be immortal?" "You will have your answer for that question very soon..." Neffie stared at the goddess curiously as she muttered very lightly. But when she realized that she won't get any further clarifications, she put that question aside and raised a new one.

Chapter 68: Godly Treasure. "So despicable," Ryan mumbled. "What is an immortal?" KuLaa asked. She already had an idea but preferred to get more explanation from Madam Su. She believed that Madam Su knew more than the texts she had read. In fact, most of what she had read and what Madam Su was saying were conflicting. "Immortal is a level of cultivation. Humans cultivate to become immortals and Immortals cultivate to become gods. Both immortals and Gods can't die of natural causes. Someone stronger than them is the only thing that can kill them."

and of all beings, it had to be the mysterious Proserpina, the goddess of shadows, heiress to the underworld; keeper of Death. Winters Veil. But then again... his mate had alluded herself that she wasn't a goddess originally. Does that mean she was a mortal once? What glorious feat did his mate achieved that she was made immortal by Hades himself? Again, Alastor could not stop himself from praising the fates for giving him such a wonderful being for a mate. Now, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry in joy. He would have been so fucking happy, completely over the moon about the fact if the goddess would just please stop resisting the fierce attraction between them.
