I should have finished writing it before I started publishing. As the stress of writing new chapters and publishing it before you began to lose interest in waiting, while trying to be a good, responsible mother to my ASD 3 year old boy, the stress of trying to write expressive, well written, spelling and grammatically mistake free (English is not my native language btw) chapters at the expense of taking a longer time to publish between chapters, was all getting to me. I realized too late, that if I wanted my book to be perfect in every way (because I'm also a keen perfectionist and when I want something done, I want it to be perfect) I should have finished it first.

Dear Reader Thank you for reading the first chapter of the book called, My Perfect Mess. My Perfect Mess was originally written as an Interactive Story Game. I am in the process of adapting it into a novel form. The original version contains a great deal of dialogue to fit the platform for which it was intended. Though you can enjoy the story in its interactive format too as currently published. (eg when Becca speaks, the format will be as this: Becca ~ “What is there to explain, Matt.”)

One more chapter to go. Dear Reader, As I turn the final page of Perfect Love, I want to express how much your journey alongside these characters has meant to me. This story was about exploring the idea of love in its purest form, amidst the imperfections of life. I hope it inspired you to believe in the beauty of love, even when it’s not perfect. Writing this book allowed me to delve into the intricacies of human emotions, and I’m grateful for every moment you spent with these characters.

The drive home seemed like it took forever- even though it was only about 20 miles. I was hoping I didn’t crush Will’s self confidence too easily. I felt awful that he had went through such a terrible accident that would leave him without an arm, and just when hope was attainable for him to be able to fit in, he was deemed unacceptable by society. People were always so judgmental and and broke my heart… especially since he seemed like such a nice guy.

Chloe sobbed in his arms, a picture of tear-stained beauty. "They were horrible! An old hag and a crazy woman, they just barged in to smash the place up! She wasn’t sure if the relaxed look was intended or if it indicated he’d finally let his guard down. Either way, it irritated her. “Talk,” she said, crossing her arms. “I don’t have time for games.” “It's all business for you, isn't it?” Roman said, pouring a glass of whiskey. He didn’t offer her one, and she didn’t ask. “But I think we both know this isn’t just business anymore.”
