I screamed in fear as elongated teeth came into view, and my magic snuffed out in my hand, enveloping the room in total darkness.
The pressure on the back of my head disappeared, and I dropped to the cold tiled floor with a hard thump. My heart beating fast as I scrambled back against the door, and reached again for my magic, but as it began to spark in my hand; the sound of electricity buzzed and the overhead lights flickered back to life, filling the small dirty bathroom yellow tinted brightness. There was no white skin, or long claws, just dingy tile and a rusted sink. As if it had never been there in the first place
