My heart does a little somersault when I see that he is closer to my window. I see him a little clearly now. The sky is dark, and the storm is getting terrible. Yet he stands there, unfazed, untouched by everything around him. The sky brightens up suddenly with a bolt of lightning, and a second later, thunder crashes loudly. I jerk from the sound, but in the split second of bright light, I catch a glimpse of his eyes. They're dark, soulless, as dark as a bottomless abyss. The remaining half of his face is hidden behind a black face mask.

I saw how My eyes radiated with inner fire,the kind that came with the understanding of what I needed to protect because I couldn't afford to lose it. I placed my hand on my belly bump once more, feeling the coming life inside shift. No promises this time. Only preparation. As night deepened, I sat by the window, watching the stars emerge, one by one, against the dark sky. The pack was holding its breath. And I had to hold mine. Because when the storm broke, there would be no turning back.

Craig’s POV The storm’s fury roared louder, tearing through the canopy and battering us with sheets of rain that numbed skin and blurred vision. Every crack of thunder felt like a punch to my chest, each lightning strike illuminating twisted branches and the jagged outline of Zane's territory with stark, fleeting clarity. The ground beneath my boots was a slick, treacherous mess of mud and water, threatening to swallow me whole with every step. I clenched my fists, fighting the instinct to slip or fall, knowing that even the smallest misstep would betray us in this chaos.

Eleanor's POV The storm raged outside, a relentless beast rocking at the boat with accompanying wind and rain. Inside, I lay trapped in a trance, my body heavy as though pinned by invisible chains. The sheets twisted around me, damp with sweat, as my mind spiraled into a nightmare I couldn’t escape. Thunder rumbled, shaking the fragile boat, but it was the visions, vivid, cruel, and unrelenting, that held me captive.

Jamie The silence in the car was thick, but my mind was louder. The wheels in my head turned restlessly, replaying everything I had seen, everything I had just survived. The bodies of the men who had ambushed me, their soulless black eyes, the inscription burned into their flesh—the unmistakable mark of the Storm Pack’s special combat crew. It made no damn sense. I clenched my fists, staring out the window as the unfamiliar woman drove through the darkened roads. She hadn’t said much since saving my ass, and I wasn’t exactly in the mood for small talk, but the moment I saw that mark, my gut twisted with something worse than suspicion.

All the furniture in what was our living room had been swept away, and the house was bare. In the next second, the scenery outside the window caught his eye. His pupils constricted as he plodded forward step by step. After the storm was clear skies, now a kind, pale blue. The world was bright, with faint traces of a rainbow lingering in the distance. He reached his hand forward, but it met no resistance. He advanced further forward until one foot was hanging over the void. It was then that it dawned on him that there should have been a window there.

"This is incredible." Tasha nodded, but her eyes were focused on something else. She sat down on the bed and brought out a book from under her pillow, and then glanced back at Storm with a n unreadable expression. “Why are your eyes purple?” She whispered, clutching the book to her chest. Storm frowned at the question. “Genetics” She replied with a shrug although she knew it was deeper than that. She actually never knew the real meaning behind her eyes. But judging from the way her parents had always seemed to over react and hide it, Storm was sure that there was more to it.

“Don’t worry, purdy eyes. I’m gonna take good care o’ your eye. It’ll be my most prized possession. Who knows, maybe I’ll add the whole Chaos set once my pet storm delivers them to me.” What does he mean by pet storm? Is someone from Tempest a traitor? If they are, they will die a slow, painful death by the time I’m done with that person. Assuming I make it out of this house alive. Razor comes for my left eye, but the pain doesn’t make me scream like he wants. No, I laugh first, then yell with pain. I wonder if Ryder will give me a glass eye after this? Do they make robotic ones yet? Only the best for his baby brother. Right?

Before I could stop myself, I wrapped my arms wrong his neck, tiptoed and kissed him. Being that my eyes were closed, I didn't get to see the reaction on his face but I didn't mind. I enjoyed his lips damning the consequences. The enjoyment didn't last at all been that he pulled me off him forcefully. I looked at his eyes and met anger. This got me scared and I moved back. I know that was trespassing but what could I have done, I couldn't help it. "You are so dead" Storm told me. "I know". He looked at me with those deadly eyes. He was panting glaring so hard at me. If those eyes could set me on fire, I know I would be burning by now. After he was done staring, he just walked away.

Even though he is upset with me, a smile appears on his face, “I love you too, Lilly.” I open the bookcase as quietly as possible. Knowing that I cannot be heard, the consequences could be awful. It is so dark it's hard to see. Then all of a sudden, I can see a golden glow, shocked when I realize it's coming from me. My eyes are glowing. Once blinded by the dark, but now I can see everything. I can still feel discomfort from Landon, but they must be letting him rest to heal a little. Before they begin to torture him even more.
