Keenan's POV: As we pull up to the bar Adam gets giddy like a kid in a candy store. I look at him and laugh. "Why are you so hyped up right now? it's just a bar. " "Because bro. it's not just a bar. it's a new bar for our kind. " "I still don't understand. " I said shaking my head and getting out of the car. "Maybe you'll understand when we get in there. " He smiles and patted my back.

“Ridiculously. And just when I thought I could cover it through my father’s estate, we discovered the company’s financial director had embezzled billions and fled the country. It’s all gone.” Cybil stared at her. “I’m so sorry. That’s unimaginable.” Laya gave a broken laugh. “Isn’t it?” They sat in silence again, the chapel holding their pain like a sealed jar. But Cybil’s mind had begun to stir. She glanced at Laya again. Young, poised, intelligent, kind, unattached. Her heart gave a strange little jump. “I know this might sound absurd,” she said, her voice measured. “But do you believe in fate?”

“Can I think about it?” “Of course.”

It was the look of appraisal. "Yeah, it turns out that Thinker had some knowledge about a virus that could pose a huge threat to the nation. Know anything about that?" I said. I was acting as if I was still providing him with information about the case, but my tone betrayed me. My voice was thick with defiance.

“The tingles….” “The tingles?” “Just think about it…”

They no longer had that money, and all they could do was keep trying to calm him down. "George, calm down. She'll come back. Regina's always been attached to us. I'm sure she'll be back in a couple of days!" "That's right. No matter how angry she is, she always answers eventually. Just give it a couple more days, alright?" George wasn't one to be fooled. He had a temper. Whenever I'd see him in the stairwell, I'd often wait until he was gone before heading home. "Yeah, right. You’re probably planning to disappear in a couple of days with my money!"

I couldn't wait to get to my new class final year will be fun...I thought but I knew it couldn’t be that fun, no friends no boyfriend, what a boring life I thought, I remove my headset, hang it over my neck, sipping my coffee before I took my seat, I could hear various thought, different things going through peoples’ minds so to avoid all of those I decided to put my headset back on.

“But I assume if we ask around, we may have a chance.” “Or we don’t ask so we don’t leave a trace, and you look into a few minds,” Thought says. I don’t miss the mischievous glint in his eyes, the teasing tone of his voice. I narrow my eyes upon him, not sure if he is being serious or not. I’ve never thought about the fact that I am free to look into any mind I wish...It seems like a frightening reality. “So, you’re admitting that’s exactly what you do,” I say, taunting him right back. It does make me wonder how often Thought decides he wants to sift through innocent people’s mind. He’s done it to me before, so why wouldn’t he do it to someone else?
