Inside Castle Walls Novels & Stories

Well, it did seem like something out of a story, I thought as I looked around me. A castle was imposing itself on us. It looked old, but that didn’t take away from the charm. The entrance was so vast, while the high walls rose proudly. I couldn’t even calculate how many floors it had. The exterior was made of stone, while at the top you could see some species of gargoyles, vigilant. At the door were two guards, who did not even blink when they saw a couple of children and a teenager browsing the place. “What the hell is this?”

Henry stared with fascination at the crystal castle and its unique architecture, it was large, and built directly on the forest lands without any grooves nor water streams surrounding it, it towers almost scraping the sky, the walls made of the finest crystal emerging directly from the ground without the stony base, shining with their own light, there were no signs of a gate or any windows on the castle, making it appear like a giant flawless diamond with perfect cuts, and for a second, he couldn’t believe he just gave an order to rain it down with fire and ice spears, not until they started colliding with the flawless walls.

Vastria and Remus in the limo finally reached his family’s estate. They passed through the black high metal gate as it opened for them and closed behind them. They drove up a hill to the house. Vastria looked out the window to se the scenery. The yard was surrounded by high rock walls with vines crawling up the walls. Guards were posted at the entrances to the estate. The estate was like an open yard, lushed with greenery. The mansion at the center was a castle. It looked nearly like a medieval times castle with history.

I didn't know if that was deliberate or if he simply didn't hear what I was hearing. We passed through the main gate and the noise from outside fell away. ~~~ The inside of the castle was worse than the outside in one specific way — it made the outside look modest. The entrance hall alone was larger than the entire ground floor of Nightshadow's packhouse. The ceilings were high enough that the upper edges disappeared into shadow. The walls were covered in tapestries, long panels of woven thread which were showing battles and figures I didn't recognize, wolves mid-shift, Alphas standing over fallen enemies, landscapes that looked like this region but older and wilder.

If they managed to cross the forest, I would receive a lugubrious view, because before them it would be the view of an ancient and demolished castle in ruin; Which although it remained standing, was in a lamentable state. The structure of the castle was surrounded by robust walls that seemed capable of enduring the passage of time, because said wall was intact and in perfect condition. Due to the poso with water and the design of the wall itself, it would be practically impossible to enter with escals or siege towers. Embedded on the wall, and as a form of entry or exit, there was a large door with limestone which was lowered and allowed the entrance of any sufficiently curious, or naive.

the king said, shaking the reporter’s hand. He returned to the queen, and the two of them entered their castle together. It was amazing; the first thing you noticed about the castle were eleven thick, circular towers penetrating the sky, which were surrounded by strong, sturdy yellow stone walls. Tall, huge windows, as well as identical-sized apertures for archers and cannon, were distributed haphazardly around the walls in what appeared to be perfect symmetry. A typical gate with big wooden doors and solid defenses, situated in chilly mountains, gave a secure shelter for all those in need, and it was the only easy way in, while easy was subjective.

A handful of waterfalls flow into various small rivers and provide the precious farm fields outside the castle with needed water. Even though the castle wasn't completely done yet you could tell that it was going to be something beautiful. The inside of the castle had an updated with more space the castle began with high ceilings and thick walls. The wall was a combination of brick and wood to strengthen the wall inside the room had different color wallpaper that gives it an outstanding look. Gold trim was on the wall of the castle beautiful marble floor that change color when you are looking at it. The castle had more than 5,000-bedrooms 5 ballrooms, 4 ex-large kitchens and cafes 4 throne r

“There is little information on them, other than them being denizens of the forest and of huge size. They will kill us the first chance they get, so we need to be wary.” “What was that?” I said, annoyed. “What?” said Joshaya, bewildered. “I ask what do you know, you say nothing, and then give me a list of the things I just asked you for.” “No, I didn’t,” said Joshaya. “I barely gave you a hint of what’s to come, for that is all I have to give.” “What about the castle?” said Maurice. “What can you tell us about it?” “Nothing,” said Joshaya. “Save that it is four turrets joined by stone walls. It sits inside a moat filled with deadly creatures and—”

Gabriel and I are hidden amongst the tall trees that border the property, but we still have to be careful and on high alert. I take in the majesty of the castle, which is straight out of a history textbook. It’s dark grey stone walls have an almost depressing, haunted quality to them against the looming backdrop of the Alps. Why anyone would deliberately choose to live here is beyond me. Through my lenses, I see a group of guards standing watch at the front entrance. I nudge Gabriel’s arm with my elbow. “Hey, check it out. Ten o’ clock.” “I see them. There’s also four armed guards at the back entrance.”

“Don’t talk to anyone. Don’t use your powers, don’t do anything to draw attention to yourself Artemis. You’ll get into the castle with Marcus.” Daylen said. Solaris’ castle had to be the most magnificent piece of infrastructure I’ve ever seen. A castle with twelve towers and blocks made of glass and marble gargoyles. Crystal clear material but no one could see what was laying beyond whose walls. “Why can’t I go in with you?” I asked him.
