Fury

Fury

The espionage is still a thing with the political elites, she cautioned. For a moment, she was proud of herself to have to put up a defence for her estranged father, Jack Banning. However, she had always resolved to avoid divulging this cherished piece of secret of her biological connection with Jack Banning lest it might dent her reputation as a respected inspector of the Vagas County.

Resisting You

Resisting You

Her audible breath denotes the growing tension in the air, and the hairs on her body stand on end as I gently touch her right arm. It's fascinating to witness the way Nihara's body responds to my touch. I watch her face intently as she closes her eyes and leaves her lips ajar. With trembling fingers, I gently caress her pleading mouth, slowly moving closer. Our breaths mingle in a frantic rhythm, and just as I'm about to kiss her, Astrid's surprised voice echoes through the room, interrupting our moment of intimacy. We pull away abruptly, surprised, our gazes fixed on the teenager who glares at us angrily.

THE HYBRID AND THE ROGUE

THE HYBRID AND THE ROGUE

I sounded dreamy but he was not blinking. "Look I am sorry, Mason." I looked at him. He didn't look too happy. "I'll leave here for now," he said with a pained look in his eyes. I watched him stop at the door. His gaze was sharp when he turned to look at me. "I'll give you a few more days to think about it," he was trying to suppress his anger. He was doing a good job at not killing me. I sighed as Mason left. This was the rogue king asking me to rule beside him. Did I really want to defy him? Rogues were known for being ruthless. They bowed to no one and yet here I was in a pack full of them, daring to anger their leader.

“They’re just trying to feel the potential out. They haven’t done anything about it. But they raised the idea, and it won’t leave me alone. If you get a couple hundred Rogues behind you, bring them into the packs… your dad won’t see that coming at all. And they’re strong, Rig. Very strong.” He frowned, obviously chewing that over. But Cara still looked confused. “So these are like, another pack, or something?” Rig shook his head. He didn’t take his eyes from me, but he explained to his mate. “They’re actual rebels. Not underground dissenters, or looking for revolution. They’re wolves that have turned their backs on the hierarchy because they didn’t respect it or want it.” “That’s how the old

Rain's Rebellion

Rain's Rebellion

Even if the rebels shot their drones down, they should be able to get there quickly enough to find them and destroy them before they could get away. All of them were to be shot on sight except for the red haired girl--Rain--and 24C. Jaguar knew exactly who he was, even though she’d had to hide her surprise when she’d learned that he was a leader of the rebellion. In her time leading the Military Mothers of Gretchintown, before White had been sent in by President Violet, she never would’ve guessed the mild-mannered 24C would’ve been a problem. Sure, he’d been a little bit of a troublemaker when he was younger, but that was the case with a lot of the men, especially the more vital ones, like 2

“I’m going to step out. When I come back, I’d like you to think about who might be protecting you.” The door closed. Elara exhaled shakily. “Why didn’t you tell me?” she whispered to the empty room. “You knew.” No answer. Only silence. Fallon pressed her palms flat against the interrogation table, bouncing her knee in restless irritation. “This is bullshit,” she muttered. “I didn’t kill anyone. I don’t even like violence. I like chaos.” The one-way glass stared back at her. She frowned. Something fogged it. Slowly.

Fury

She couldn’t deny how his muscular body and pure masculine magnetism drew her to him. If he regained movement she’d die. She knew that and he probably wished he could get his hands on her. She glanced across the room to stare at the cracked and peeling white paint that ran the length of the room on the floor by the door. The staff called it the kill line. All test subjects were shackled by each limb. Though they were strong enough to break chains occasionally, none had ever broken all four at once. They only needed one free limb to kill. She sat inside the kill zone with an enraged, huge male whose two arms were chained but they weren’t connected to anything anymore. That realization made he

INSTINCTLESS: A Scentless Bloodline

INSTINCTLESS: A Scentless Bloodline

And it was close. Everyone was on their feet in an instant. Weapons were in hands. Rhydian and Kellan were at the edge of the clearing, peering into the trees. "What was that?" someone whispered. "It didn't sound like a wolf." "It wasn't," Rhydian said, his voice tense. "It was a Rougarou." "What's a Rougarou?" I asked. Kellan answered, his knife ready. "A broken wolf. One whose bond has been severed but didn't fade. They go mad. They live in the wild places between territories. They feel the hole where their pack was every second. It makes them… vicious."

Fruit of Ruin

With no hesitation, I slapped him hard across the face and snapped, "Have you lost your mind?! I'm not telling you this so you'll apologize to me. I'm telling you because we're done. Mangoes are my bottom line, and you crossed it for Larissa. That means we can never go back. Do you understand that?" However, he looked at me like he really didn't understand at all. His voice was thick with pain. "Do you hate me that much? Enough to take the Vespera project and let Holt Enterprise collapse? Just to get back at me?" I shook my head. "You're overthinking it. I was already in charge of Vespera. I'm just taking something that was mine from the start. Now, stop pestering me." Alan didn't hear a wor
